Hi all, had the lurgy for a few days so been a bit below par, to say the least
I was just passing the office when I heard someone shouting me, it was WCS so I thought I had better stop and answer, would be rude not too :rotfl:
Thankyou dear, you knew I was standing here with my pinny on didn't you?My children often say I command respect that way :rotfl: Really not up to scratch with online protocol and didn't want you to scroll past me in a daze (or would that just be me??)
So happy to hear life is good for Smiley just now.
Kidcat apologies missed your post about DH - so sorry to hear thing's aren't good. I "lost" my husband as he couldn't cope with youngest's disability/illnesses. Hope you manage to sort something out, your life always appears to carry heavier than usual responsibilities.
Edited to add: just recalled Kidcat is it your husband you suspect is on the spectrum also? if so it might help to engage a professional to assist with communication, as you well know this is difficult at the best of times. My eldest is on the Aspergers end and it can be very challenging, but he gets really upset if he thinks he's upset me for any reason, often unwittingly through what appears to be thoughtlessness but of course isn't.

Just popped in - Kidkat You make a 'well' in the centre of the Granny Cake so it rises and cooks more evenly. I'll try & post a photo .....:(Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Today I seem to have an inexplicable urge to do some chores.
i have no idea where it's come from or why - it's hardly spring like enough to be spring cleaning. I think its because I have spent two days in the house and want to make the use of the time while I can't do owt else. When the weather finally improves I shall want to be in the garden so the house has to be manageable.
I am starting in the office of doom.......
Send in the rescuers if i haven't resurfaced in a couple of hours.:DI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
OK - here goes with a photo.........
Oh - didn't work - Help!!
I uploaded to flickr & posted the URL - what have I done wrong/not done?

Hm - link seems to work OK - sorry its only half a cake - the other half is in the freezer (before the DH manages to spot it!!)Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Thank you all for your support it really does mean alot.
Pooky he has done something that is really unacceptable, I have challenged him and he says so what.
I have explained that unless he now seeks help for what is a major problem I will move him out and he will not be allowed access to the kids - at this point he is in a position of I am not giving up something even for the kids. WHich means I will have to make him go, have given him a couple of days to consider it and then I will make a move.0 -
Kidcat - wishing you strength to do what is right for you & your family & sending you hugsSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Morning one and all, bet you missed me
Well I'll be right back. Just have to find some inexpensive accom in London for two for a week, then get them across the water with a small vehicle, and read through the 50 pages that you've written while I've been busy...don't go away, but don't hold your breath, either.

Kidcat, sorry things aren't great with OH.
I have broke my crown on my tooth. No emergency service so will try first thing in the morning to make contact with my dentist. He always says don't leave anything, even the slightest pain/worry. To those of you who aren't aware I am scared silly. Even entering the building causes me to hyperventilate. I had 2 wisdom teeth out under introvenus sedation in july last year. The dentist there was lovely, and has agreed I can have further treatment with him if its needed. My girls are both ok with going, luckily. They laugh at me when I go!!!!
Next door have been playing some rather dodgy music very loud for a while now, I ended up going round and I don't think I was exactly rude . I just said its our only day off and I don't really want to hear your music over my tv. Don't think I was too rude, but I have got toothache and I am tired out.
Snow is melting fast here, roads are clear and dry in places. Keep in the warm everyone.BSC member 137
