Fuddle am really pleased for you, didnt I say once you got to interview they would see how fab you are? We know it and now others see it too. Lets face it hunny after all you have been through you can do anything once you set your mind to it. :T:T:T

Just trying to conjour up a meal for tea with whats in the fridge, forgot to defrost anything with all the messing about here. Will be glad when DD moves into her new house and I can stop bu**ering about. Yesterday she wanted to borrow my steam cleaner, today she needed cloths, so took my room apart to find the old towels and t shirts I had stashed.

    Stiltwalker congratulations

    Welldone fuddle, sounds very promising.

Today i went to argus, again for the bathroom cabinet. We have lived here for over 8 years and have only now decided to get one. I have had 3 boxes from there so far, all damaged. Today was the final straw. I rang the customer services to complain and they are sending out a goodwill gesture. Now what do i do, ask them to replace just the damaged panels or choose another cabinet.

Now what do i do for tea???? think it might have to be sausages.

Great news with the job fuddle
Stiltwalker just think in two weeks a new luxury pram brill news.

Mothers day here was a nightmare, OH stayed in bed so the children were saying sorry not buying me a present as they dfather didn't take them. Ds2. Was freaking out about. Ds1 was fuming so I took myself and the boys to a cafe. After half n hour I phoned OH and invited him so we sat with hot chocalates and biscuits. Very expensive for a council, gulped when she said the price.

Today Ii have been glossing the wood work upstairs, took blooming ages. It's been snowing here all day. We had goat yesterday for dinner. Its weird takes something in between lamb and beef. It was okay, but the boys and OH really liked it.

Well going to have a mooch about for pack lunch ideas.

Aw thanks for the well wishes everyone. Ill hurry up and tell you the outcome blue so you can uncross all your limbs!

I think they thought I was a right loon Lyn. Dunkirk sprit? Flamin half wit more like lol

Ginny, sometimes I think I set myself up for a fall though, still mange for the first time in my life to actually sell myself. I can write about myself, but talk about myself is really difficult. I've definitely matured some.

Kez sometimes OH's just don't get it that we would like to be fussed over just a little bit. The girls dad got me some smellies but told them to tell me that they were because I smelt like pigeon pooh! Maybe say to your boys kez that your ideal present would be a pic by them. That way if it happens again your boys won't get hurt? Little DD was funny this afternoon "mammy, I like your new plant. Did you get it for mothers day?" Basil lol

My basil isn't growing :( I'm wondering if its too cold on the window sill at the minute?

We're having a pasta week this week, sometimes with grilled chicken but other wise just different HM sauces. Trying that instead of meat to see if I can reduce the shopping bill, so far no. Ingredients needed to be bought.

Help required from all the "crafty" ones amongst you.....my DD sent me a lovely card for Mothers Day and enclosed some pieces of beautiful ribbon. She suggested using them to accessorise clothing, but I'm not particularly "au fait" with needlework stuff. Can anyone suggest some simple ways I can use ribbons? (I haven't got enough hair to tie up) They are so pretty I would hate to waste them.

  • Ginny glad the fundraising went so well for you.
Hester I did not envy you having to write that letter, no wonder you were procrastinating.
Hope all goes well for you tomorrow fudddle.

Had a great mothers day. Bacon sandwich in bed, visit to MIL surprise visit to DD1 at uni for a late lunch and then stopped off on the way back home to visit my mum. The girls gave me a boxed set of Jane Austin DVD's, Colin Firth as Mr Darcy yum yum :D.

Can not get motivated to start sowing seeds whilst it keeps trying to snow
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.
