pops, there are other things you can do with ashes rather than scatter them. It is a difficult time and I hope that none of what I say offends or upsets you, that would sincerely be the furthest thing from my mind.

There are companies who transform ashes into crystals and make things like wind chimes, this means you can always have your loved ones remains with you, if this would bring you comfort.

Just an alternative for you to maybe think about, a quick internet search will probably find you a few firms who do this and other ideas too.

It does not offend me in the slightest nor does it seem strange.
I only discovered what happened to my Father's this year(29 years after)we were never approached to collect them or asked what to do probably down to our ignorance as much as anything.

Kidcat it's DD's party on Friday too, so she'd better be better by then or there'll be an awful stink.

It occurred to me to mention it because it is what I would like to be done with my remains, something light and moving gently in the breeze.

People all react differently to these subjects and it is easy to upset some one who doesn't share your own outlook or views.

But I really liked the idea. It appealed to me much more than having my ashes scattered.

The thought that something of me would still be in the living world so to speak, although I hope that the spiritual me has been a good enough person to reside in the hearts of others.

Such days do make you think, as said earlier if you treat people with respect, you get surprised even by The Famous" on Twitter and today I have had three from "the" Christine Hamilton, Nigella Lawson and a reverand heard on radio...

But though I often disagree with his political views this was posted and people seem to identify with the sentiments...

Your spirit will be free to pass in and out of this world anytime Blue, and anytime a loved one thinks of you then you'll be there beside them. xx

    Morning toughies, we have SNOW!!!

made the trip to the psot office for the dreaded red carded letter. Turns out one of you is right, it is a letter from renault. They have a problem with the bonnet catch on this model but I have to pay for the replacement. Nearly £100. The car was gifted to our daughter, so I will be asking the local garage to have a look.

Thankyou for telling me it would all be OK. Its just sometimes I imagine the very worse, and then panic mode sets in.

Today DD is off collage, they are snowed and iced out of the building for h&s reasons. Daft, we have only had a light sprinkling.

    Stay safe everyone x

It was -7 here this morning, just climbed to a sizzling -5. Four inches of snow on the ground and more pelting down - and we were out planting hedge roses! LOL -I got them off ebay when we had that nice week (that was summer)
Now in for a nice hot cuppa, to relax and enjoy the sun and snow.

Its freezing here today, really sunny but cold brrrr!

Have been into school and had a moan about their comic relief plans - all kids to wear silly socks, and then take in stuff to ice a cake, buy a cake from school for 50p and then bring cake home. Total outlay for parents in the region of £6.50 total amount comic relief will get is 40p per child!!
Its ridiculous - she said the children wanted to celebrate comic relief - its not a celebration -its a fundraising day GRRRRR!
