I do have a Korat (ancient Thai breed of cat) and also a Borat (half Burmese, half Korat). I have shown Kidcat some pictures of how good the Korat is with my small son.

MrsLW I hope that both you and Docky are better very soon.

Cranky sorry I didnt realise they were snuggly cats as well :D They remind me of a Havanah we had years ago but he was very superior and rarely deigned to sit on our laps preferring to be above us looking down. thats the only pedigree I ever had and he was so sorely missed. sice then I have only had cats who got rescued by us or wandered in - ie Spare Cat.

Stiltwalker wonderful news, am crossing my fingers for you all.

Just been for a little trip out to a lovely shopping place that I worked at forra while 7 years ago, northwich in Cheshire. I managed a cs there on and off for a while and though the commute by bus and train was awful the shop was fab and the people lovely. Now its a ghost town, shops closed or for sale and very little of interest in the 6 cs's :( All we bought was a jigsaw,2 books, some tomatoes and oranges. At least the parking was free

This is what Korats do. Could someone who knows how to please make it smaller?

    Stiltwalker: Wonderful news!

We've had a lovely day and I'm pleased to report I've come to realise I'm spending alot less being at home. No sneaky trips to the vending machine for lunch, or forgetting to buy something for tea so having to go to the local shop at work (a waitrose!). Plus my petrol bill has dropped as it was a bit of a commute :)

However I may come back down tomorrow as have to do the weekly shop as always depresses me how much we spend on nothing :(

But onwards and upwards, all about the positive things! LO slept from 11 till 6 last night and I got lots of smiles today. Makes it all worth it eh?

I live near Northwich & it is such a shame that it is steadily going down hill in the town centre. So many of the shops have shut down. I don't do much shopping anywhere nowadays but when I do go to Northwich there are more and more shops closed. It is such a shame as up to 2 or 3 years ago it was always worth a visit. Usually now I only go if I want to have a look round Matalan, the Works or the charity shops.

Cranky I remember you posted an adorable picture of your Korat tucked up in bed with your son
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

MARY when do you have the other eye fixed? is it this week or next week, and how is the first one doing? hope it is making life easier for you and you are getting used to being able to see again, Cheers Lyn xxx.
