Happy Birthday Nuttyp :bdaycake:
I did an online order on Mr S last night and it was like doing an exam, my head was rattling at the end. All those price per kg, per 100gms to compare. I did it to save worrying about when OH would be well enough to go to the sm but bloomin heck it wasnt an easy option and I had £12 off my first online shop. When I got to the end I was 65p short of the £60 total and the page locked :mad: but I persevered and got through, I wont let the bu**ers beat me!
Seriously though when you see it all listed in black and white the prices are scary but hidden amongst it are the cheaper options. Now I just have to tidy the freezers before it all arrives tomorrow night.
Greenbee how exciting to move house, look forward to hearing all about it :jClearing the junk to travel light

Ginny I find it a lot easier to do it online, I can trim and chop and swap without getting knackered walking round the place. I was in there this morning, and a lady and I were standing rivetted at the price ticket on turnips. £1.20!!:eek: I felt like Baldrick in Blackadder - I canny even afford a whole turnip !0

I know that now I have started online again I will be able to refer to my last shop and just click on it so it will be very easy from now on. I used to do it when I was working and could do a shop in 10 minutes. Its just getting my head round the whole housebound business and where to put all the crochet and other crafting that is filling the house that I while away the hours with :eek:Clearing the junk to travel light

Happy Birthday Nuttyp - have a lovely day XXX
Ginny - it does get easier, honest! I started doing the shop online when DS was tiny - it was an absolutely nightmare going round the supermarket with both him and DD in the trolley as DD wanted to contantly pat and pet him (not always too gently due to co-ordination problems, not malice!) and DS would tolerate for so long and then no more and would then start shrieking! It also took us twice as long as DH works in the local Mr T so we know most of the staff who would all have to say hi and ask after the kids and admire them! So I grunted and swore and muttered my way through the first 2/3 shops thinking well - at least it's better than the screaming! and then it clicked and now I'm really annoyed if I have to shop in store, even though DD and DS have long since come to an accomodation about the whole sitting next to each other and reasonable amount of patting and kissing.........mostly!!!!
Submitted my essay last night, not so sure it's great but hey ho - you can't have it all! As long as I pass this module, that's the main thing.
Packaged up my felt brooches as well - they all look lovely on their black cards, put a few on Flikr for you to nosy at. http://www.flickr.com/photos/89551838@N04/8528185066/in/photostream
Ok - onwards and upwards -Hugs all X0 -

And you know what's in itIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Maryb: thank you for making me feel better
Mums just called to offer to take LO for a walk with them this afternoon. Now do I use these 2 hours to do some dishes and washing and generally get housework done. OR do I go soak in a hot bubble bath? Dilemma!!0 -
Bath !!!!
Sorry - Bad influence here but unless the house is a complete minging tip (and i'm sure it's not!) the bath'll do you more good and 15 minutes after they are back there will be mess again and probably more washing up anyway! (Least that is what happens in our house).0
