  • Morning all, I didn't watch any of the above, I watched the RUGBY and on Saturday we watched both matches and I want Morgan Parra the French number 9!!!!!!!!!

He who knows has always had a beard so he doesn't have to grow one he had a head start. He doesn't have a trike but has always had a pushbike and he looks like a grasshopper on it as he has long skinny legs. He does have a rotavator though, and I probably could persuade him to make a cartie with seats like the Good Life, would that do? I don't think either of us will actually need to revert to childhood, popular opinion has it that we never left it first time round, hey ho, it's a happy life if you don't weaken, Cheers Lyn xxx.

FUDDLE hope your throat gets better quickly, poor you! Lyn xxx.

Love that vegan site - one day I'll go back and look at the food :D

ditto! :rotfl: I must confess I've always fancied having a dabble in naturism but too chicken! Maybe when the kids are all grown up and I'll have an old life crisis and ride motorbikes nude... or summit :rotfl:

I another Ripper Street fan - love the dark historical theme and as someone else said the language, almost Shakesperian. Its one of the rare things DH and I both loved - we try and find a weekly prog to watch together as our tastes are quite different but overlap occasionaly.

I also confess to fancying Reid - reminds me a bit of my DH who has (in my eyes) the gorgeous combo of thick dark wavy hair and blue eyes. Sigh ....

Prof Brian - well I enjoy the content of his progs but find him irritating, too soppy and simpery for me. Would be v boring if we all liked the same stuff huh?

Been out re-stocking some supplies this morn, another shop after lunch and still more another day but need to do a complete stock take (other than the freezer) and more concrete meal plan. Been lapsing with meal plans, just doing a day or two at a time and need to get back on track.

Bumped into a lovely friend in the supermarche who works nearby but lives further. Bought a big smile to both of us. Bought a few bargains in !!!!!! :D (farm yard not foods) if anyone's interested:

bags sliced frozen mushrooms £1 BOGOF
    2 x 4 pinter milk for £1.60
K%rrymaid buttery spread big 1kg size (can use to bake, sauces etc) £1
3 x 4 pack Cudburys low fat choccy mouse £1

plus the usual loo rolls 18 rolls for £4 (good quality)
    frey bantos pies £1
    2 x pettock curry sauces £1.50
bags of various frozen veg 3 for 2 (about £1 a bag)

probs other bits but thats all I can remember folks. Worth a look in.

better get some lunch and head off out again

Just signed up to community switch held by my council. It works by residents signing up and then in April there will be an auction for energy suppliers to bid to provide our local community with energy. There's nearly 4000 people signed up in my borough so hoping to get my quote with some competitive tarrif detail enclosed come April. No obligation so its worth a try.

Don't know if its countrywide though. It's called big community switch

SQ, describes Prof B to a T, for me.:p I would love to love him because I love the science, so he annoys me because I misss out!

It's interesting however, how we are all so different. ;)

Anyway, there's iplayer or press record if I wanted to watch both...

I love anything historical. I don't fancy anyone these days :o, I just enjoy their acting or their character.

Well, my black dog keeps hovering, seems it's going to be another non productive day, the pain is easier, but then I'm not doing a great deal except for the occasional forays into the kitchen. :(

Necked my electricity account. That 'meter reader' reading has been removed and I have been credited with £44 in my electricity account. Sheesh, you have to watch service providers so carefully.

Have to take the dog out and I really don't want to :( thanks for well wishes Lyn, I can cope with many things but sore throats always make me feel vulnerable, weepy and pathetic.

Another day taking it easy...think the head cold is improving and today the gaps between coughing and sputtering is lengthening but what a night. Not good.

I'm a bit like Byatt I can appreciate the beauty of someone but don't "Fancy" as such...I don't mind Brian Cox as a presenter but it has been difficult for me to grasp what it is trying put across.

Fuddle poor you. get yourself a bag of walkers ready salted crisps while you're out. They're great for sore throats. I know it sounds wrong but it doesn't hurt any extra to swallow them and the salt is a natural antiseptic.

I have just taken a bin bag and four carrier bags of stuff to the charity shop, filled another carrier bag for my friend's daughter, put two carrier bags of junk in the bin and half filled a bin bag for a lady who does things for the local dog rehoming kennels. I'm having a 10 minute sit down before I go and fold the washing which should be dry (tumble drier not a weather miracle).

I have given Mr Cranky's fishing rods away so that is a small space mad in the junk room, and I have just remembered that the cake tin is empty too, so I had better go and do something about that too.

The estate agent is calling to value Faulty Towers on Wednesday. His name is the same as the house elf's middle name so I'm hoping that's a good omen.

    Take care all of you.

Fuddle - it may be worth contacting the central NHS service - they can allocate you a GP if needs be.
WE moved when DD18 was only tiny and no local GP would take us as they all argued they were full. I was adviced to contact the NHS place and they simply told us which GP we were allocated to, it was our nearest one as well which was great.

Boogar kidcat, I went to the pct. Wrong call completely as they just backed up docs. Non of these docs are full just my nearest are in a snobby are in a snobby area but I don't live in the snobby area so my post code don't fit. I will remember that though because by looks of it even if we move slightly in the same locality were going to face challenges. Thank you :)

Crisps? Oh I'm cringing lol. Ill try after school. Best thing is though I've craved a cuppa and actually enjoying it :D

Hope the sore throat improves Fuddle...my own head cold isn't that bad but this cough:mad:and I don't get coughs...

If it remains to be fair to everyone else I am not going to the music club on town tomorrow night to be fair to everyone else nor my treat out on Thursday, I can't sit watching a comedian and spluttering...but by then I may be much better.

As I don't socialise that much I suspect it was caught at the supermarket whilst shopping.
