stay on the ceiling its fab!

what lovely bike store you have GQ :)

Lynn sounds pretty scary where you are, with all the rain, I hope your neighbours don't get flooded.

kidcat the migraines don't sound good. i would get home checked out at the hospital rather than waiting.

My gawd through another loads of bags out today. Maybe its a good thing i don't have any boxes to pack as its making me throw things out.

Got virgin sorted out for the new place, due to be switched on the 12th feb provisionally and got them to install it for free :j
Told m&s energy about the move so thats all good. OH thinks we should leave due to how much our bills were. So going to have a look for some good deals, first i have to phone up a number to see who supplies the property first.

Had people over today, so in-between throwing carp out been chatting away. Need a cuppa though i'm parched, wheres that nurse when you need her shhhh can't get the staff these days......

*hugs* Kidcat, I hope you can get rid of that migraine quickly.

Fuddle, congrats on the interview and the best of luck to you.

Stiltwalker, I'm loving that fruit and veg, they're adorable.

Ginnyknit, you'd have had a TV news crew there too I bet :rotfl:

I'm doing 3 lots of 20 minutes physio a day.... and icing it.... and feeling it! She's a blinking slave driver. Incidentally 7WW, this should make you jealous, she's doing Mcconnell taping on my knee at present whilst I strengthen it.... and she was taught it by Jenny Mcconnell herself. If I continue as is with her, she won't just have me doing a couch to 5k, she'll have me in the damned local triathlon. :rotfl:

    Oh just remembered:

My partner told me off today when i said the temp in the house was 17 degrees. He went ape (i can imagine him jumping up and down and glaring at me), said the house is supposed to be 19 degrees at least. If you were my employee i'd be getting sued, turn the blumming heating up.

So little old me with my tail between my legs turned it up :o

I have ours set at 21 usually - DS8 needs it, I turned it down by accident last week and we have toileting issues same day so I have proof of why I pay extortionate amounts :)

kezlou if you ask on freecycle you will be bound to get boxes, we gave ours away mostly through freecycle. and were inundated with requests. Our postman got lots too - he moved a few weeks after we did and having some bad experiences with postman in the past I thought it best to butter this one up:)

fuddle, GQ and kezlou thank you :) as for DS I am absolutely sure its migraine relating to stress and no sleep, and as DS is stressed and not sleeping my migraine is for the same reason :) tonight I have taken his laptop etc away, have him sat relaxing watching a gentle program and drinking horlicks - if this doesnt work I am going to contact his case worker and ask for sleep meds. Not something I was willing to consider but to see him suffer is not fair.

Kidcat my grandma refused to let me sleep in her cold un-aired spare room when I was little for fear of 'cold in my kidneys'. My grandma wasn't an educated lady but spent her life in the home and knew her stuff. She would tell me about the times when icicles grew on the inside of the windows but also would point out that the fire in the living room was always roaring so they had somewhere to warm up.
  • Evening all

    stiltwalker that fruit is amazing
    fuddle goodluck with the interview

stiltwalker - just looked at the fruit, wow they look great. You could make a packet selling them :)

kidcat - one of the ladies who attend an autism group has sleep meds for her son. She only gives to him when they both badly need sleep. She says once he's had them, the next day he's wakes up happy and contented. I saw him today and he was bouncing all over happy as larry, she said he some special milk last night, slept for 6 hours straight, pure heaven.

DH has the temperature set to 21 to, so thats what i've got mine set to as well. Takes the pains out of my joints.

just told ds1 to get to bed, i'm so tired, really don't want to sort things out but i know i need to.

Thanks for the idea about boxes, just asked on freegle :)
  • FUDDLE smashing news about your interview, do you get the feeling that all this is meant to be? I do!!!!! Congratulations little one, so very pleased for you, Cheers Lyn xxx.

All this talk about thermostats just got me checking mine and ooops it 22.5c -thought it was a bit warm:o I usually aim for around 19-21c, as I have problems with my joints and I'm home all day, but 22.5c is probably excessive. I did think it was freezing outside today though, not literally, but the wind was blowing a gale and sometimes I think this makes it feeler colder than when it is actually freezing. I don't heat the bedroom unless it is around freezing outside though because I hate being too warm at night -can't please some people:D

i've given up , my heads pounding from lack of sleep so going to go to bed with a hot milk and see if i can dose off.

Eliza - i feel the same, gales always make me feel cold, especially when they make that awful howling noise.
Scares the life out of me. *brrrrrr*

Oh and way off topic :o

Can anyone recommend any good free kindle books for me to read. Reading les miserables at the moment but my fuzzy brain won't let me concentrate.

    cheers x
