Morning all,
just come over all dark and moody here, blimming rain when I have washing to get dry!
fuddle - congrats on the interview!
heavenleigh - sorry to hear about your son and that headmaster - schools should take bullying like that with the seriousness it deserves. Good luck today.
DS8 was kicked again yesterday by another child - its awkward as the other child is younger, is auty and I know him (and have a soft spot for him). I do feel for the other little lad as he has problems but on the other hand DS8 has been bullied before and I don't want his anxiety building up again. I left a message with the office for the class teacher and will wait to hear, if not will ask to speak to her again directly.
kezlou - sorry you still have a headache love
and kidcat - how are you today?
tina - big hugs coming your way. you are among friends here.
stiltwalker - your fruity felts are amazing!
well got through the self defence course yesterday with the scary woman - seems she has bought a couple of friends along too. They are really tough woman and I have to remind myself why they are this way and not feel intimidated by them. They were talking, almost bragging about fights they have got in to on a night out in the past. I know some have anxiety issues etc and did admit it so I understand - but won't be getting on their wrong side... just in case! My lifestyle is so completely different - I have never been in a fight in my life other than with my little sis as kids, a school bully once (she had what was coming) and I was once lashed out at a friend's boyfriend who thought it a joke to stick his tongue down my ear and grope me - he didn't do it twice I can tell you. Nowadays I rarely venture anywhere even in the dark save collecting kids/DH in the car or the supermarket - my eves are the slippers and hot choc kind - after sorting out everyone else's needs of course.
nutty - my DH also has the cheek to say I pinch the duvet when he often snores like a big fat pig too. My sympathies!
I am feeling panicky again today. I need to get a grip somehow. I keep thinking about how I am going to cope with all the courses I have coming up. Its not just the time aspect - having much less of it, its also I need some downtime to unwind after being around people, speaking lots in challenging situations and I won't have much spare time. I am going to need a plan I think - if I can calm down first! Can someone give me a pep talk please - my stomach is in knots even sitting at home on here.

sevenup - you are not allowed to feel guilty about buying essential clothes.
Your jeans will no doubt last you til they drop off you. Glad they look nice on. I could do with a few new clothes and if you don't feel guilty about yours, I'll try not to feel guilty when I buy mine!

Thank you savingqueen. I am wearing a pair now and they are so comfy - even running up and down the stairs in the tower block where i went to collect my books a little while ago:). Best of all though is thta they are exactly the right length which makes such a nice change. Most trousers are too long for me. And you are right that they will be worn to death. I hope you get osme new clothes soon too.
Make sure you make time jsut for you on course days even if only half hour soak in a hot bath with the door locked.
Kezlou i have just done my tax return online. I hate doing it but it didnt take me that long really. Is he registered to do it online? If so, log on and it will tell you if the submission has been done.0 -
UPDATE: Huge hugs to all in need, i feel a bit !!!!!! moaning about my problems and not referring to everyone elses!
Situation with headmaster!
He said it was posssably a game of tig getting out of control,,,,,i told him, the minute the school doors opened at 9am, my child was legally his responsibility!
I would also be taking Logan out of school this afternoon to take him to the gp to record his bruises that happened under his care.
He soon changed his frame of mind, will see what happens when i pick him up xxxI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!
Total £560 -
Morning all!:)
(((Hugs))) to everyone who wants one.
Trying to not get too excited about my cup of Bov*il:j 2nd fast day on the 5:2 today.
Still quite blowy here, but lovely and sunny, I can't wait for Spring to arrive so I can start getting some of my new seeds in the trays/ground. I subscribe to Gr*w Yo*r Own* and they sent me another 4 free packets of veg seeds. I am thrilled, they have sent so many free ones -I'll hardly have any to buy:TI think I could possible get some onions seeds and lettuce in now, but the greenhouse needs a really good sort out and clean and I'm not up to it at the moment:( Might be able to entice DH to have a go at the weekend:) I really miss being able to just go out and pick things and I'm afraid we can't grow enough to last us through the whole of winter.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

First off, have a [hug], second thing, take a deep breath, hold for 5 second's then let it out,3rd make yourself a cuppa,4th get hold of a calander and put down all deadline's for the course's.
Then come's the hard part, getting the rest of the family on board to help free up some time for you to do course work.
The thing's I'm thinking of taking into consideration the fact you'v got young children are daft thing's,like getting the little one's to sort the washing into diffrent colour pile's whilst you watch 'em and get on with peeling the veg, or getting them to weigh out flour, sugar and dryed fruit and bagging it up,so when you want to bake you don't have to waste time doing that job, also the fruit can be used as snack's for lunch box's.
Hope I'v not overstepped myself,and also hope I'v given you some idea's.£71.93/ £180.000 -
Boultdj what great advise. I have worked all the time, my kids were use to helping. Sorting the washing is a great idea, as is them just making their beds. OK it may not be perfect to mum's standard but they are helping. The cooking side of things sounds like a great idea, i hadnt thought of being that prepared.
I have just got pertol for my car, did the veg shop at @ldi as its 39p for the 6 specials. Was thinking of getting the main shop this week as there is a £5 voucher off a £40 shop today in the mirror paper. There is also lots of additional % discount coupons.
Oh has rang twice to appologise for snoring. HMMM still very tired tho. No chance of napping as nextdoor is being decorated and it sounds like they are going to be drilling for a while. Oh well we a re thinking of doing our lounge later this year, so im sure we wil be noisy at time while doing it.
Tina - there are people you can talk too, that can help you arrange a visit to check he is ok. My friend who son had a full private education ended up in a YO place. His crime was stopping a lad who was drunk molestering a girl, but to stop him he hit him very hard. No witnessess and drink was involved. My friend was very ashamed, but on his time there he gained some new skills, in construction and he has a nice job. So if he is willing to learn it could be a step forward for him on his release. Good luck, and please keep talking to us here.
Stay safe everyone, high winds are predicted with rain.BSC member 137

Heavenleigh well done. I will have to note the bit about seeing the gp for anyone else who tells me a kid has been bruised at school. They would be quick enough to report you to ss if he had come from home like that.
Tina (((((((Hugs)))))))). Are you feeling squished yet?0 -

The cooking bit nutty come's from about 7 year's ago and me liking to cook,OH liking to eat what I'v cooked and at the time me not having a great deal of time seeing as I was going to work, going up to see my Dad in hospital and then going and seeing to his house routine knee op but they did both at the same time, taking OH's Dad to the doctor's and hospital appointment's, and then helping Mum & Step dad with shopping, gardening 70 x 30 foot-all planted and taking then to doctor's and hospital appointment's OH's dad + stepdad both had termenal cancer, mum arturitus in spine and grand mal epilpsy so it was a bit of normality for me to bake and I still do it now. I also do the weighing out for my Dad seeing as he like's to bake as well, it's just getting harder for him to stand for long so it make's it quicker for him and help's him stay more indepentent, which he like's.:D£71.93/ £180.000
