Well done on getting the interview Fuddle - I'll have everything crossed here.
My Dad hasn't made the market stall yet Pooky but it's going to be something like this one http://www.letterbox.co.uk/traditional-toys/play-kitchens-and-shops/honeybee-market-stall and these are the fruit and veg I've made so far http://www.flickr.com/photos/89551838@N04/sets/72157632652443106/0 -
I have a job interview! Next Tuesday Morning. They cater for school drop offs and pick ups at the girls' school so hopefully, if I get the job, the girls will be in the same building as me.
Whooosh! peel me off the ceiling.
Been living the everyday life today. My lovely local bike shop bloke did a wee repair on my aged pushbike and refused to take any money. I was gobsmacked and touched.
I like it when I do business with small traders who work for themselves and have been in their trade, man and boy (or girl and woman) since Noah was a lad. Much nicer than going to an impersonal out of town barn.
Been freakishly warm here, 12-13 degrees which is, for me at least, shirtsleeve weather outside. I don't feel the cold like I used to, not sure weather it's being a certain age or being a trifle chubby but, hey ho, let's not knock it.:rotfl:
Just wish today had been the weekend as I would have been in my element on the allotment but alas, two more days of piloting a desk before I'm temporarily released from captivity.
Monnagran, loving the image of the Rev being cage-trained. I've met a few revs in my time and they were all delightfully-bonkers.
Right, I think that I may be incorrectly-hydrated so must go to the kettle and rectify that lack immediately. One cannot be too careful about these things. I also require biscuits but am too wretchedly idle to walk to the convenience store and get some. Greed defeated by sloth...............
Hope everyone has a great evening. GQ xxEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

The fruits are fab! Well done. I bet there's a market for selling those."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Stiltwalker love the veggies, they look really good...must not get into needle felting...bad ginny :rotfl:
We actually went out for a coffee today at a local garden centre and I came back to find the contractors had removed my front garden :T I am so excited at how much easier life will be with our little driveway. Should be finished by Friday. While we were out I nipped to the ladies which is a porta-cabin style loo inside a huge sort of greenhouse thing at the garden centre. The wind (outside that is not in the loo) was so bad I thought the whole bloomin place was going to fall down on the porta-cabin and leave me sat there in the debris :rotfl: I came out shaking then started laughing at the thought of me sat there on the loo in the aftermath - you know it would be on the front page of the local paper :rotfl:

Well done Fuddle on the interview.
Unfortunately the Ald* voucher is for a £40 spend this time rather than £35 (and £30 before that). Sign of the times eh?0 -
Well, as I said before GQ 12c indoors but I wasn't cold today, well, fed too...
Tesco's are giving Aldi some competition and this week many biscuits(good well known brands)2 pkts for £1 and many less than that so a good time to stock up...
Over recent weeks I have even been buying some of those Belvita/Kellog's breakfast biscuits only as they were on offer...at present Weetabix have brought some out and they are on offer at present."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Not worth me bothering then, I really dont need that much and dont have any freezer space left. Unless there is any good gadgets coming up in the newsletters.
Fuddle - well done
Jem - hugs
Heavenleigh - hugs
I feel so useless just offering hugs at the moment, I wish I could offer more.
DS14 still has a headache, I took him to the doctor who decided it was a migraine (3 days now) but then mentioned a family history of a young brain haemorage as being a concern - then announced if no better in a few days to go back and they will consider a brain bleed!!
I have a matching migraine again too- definitely stress I think.0 -
Totally forgot to say my friend has dog crates, including ones fitted into the car - she gave our IT whizz from group a lift last week and he wanted a go in the crate as he said it looked so comfortable, maybe an idea for the Rev there monnagran0

kidcat now is not the time for offering anything. I think it's about time you took from the thread and absorb the kind words and well wishes yourself.
pops in the workplace the temperature should be no lower than 16 degrees or 13 if it's physical work. I don't think there's a law but certainly an expectation. Can I ask why is it you don't warm your house up even a little bit? I know we all want to shave off our bills but please heed the warnings about the cold and it being really dangerous. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-20425364 Please heed the 'cold related illness' bit.0 -
Stiltwalker your fruit and veg are lovely. I would far rather have had those for my son instead of the plastic stuff.0
