    Happy birthday 7WW.
Mar I hope you have enough sweeties.
Sorry to hear your poor mum had to cope with that Softstuff. I wanted to be a reporter when I was young but there have been many occasions when I've been relieved that wasn't the way my career went.
Managed to get the children to school today without sliding all over the road so can do some work. The pavements were like blocks of ice though so I need to find a way of picking the DCs up this afternoon without falling.

Thanks Possession, the thing that really struck me was that the reporter had zero concern for an elderly widow who had just unexpectedly lost her husband. There's lots of people out there who are maybe a bit jaded or blinkered, but I think it takes a "special" kind of person to disregard someones feelings like that (even after we'd contacted them and highlighted how we felt).

Happy Birthday 7WW - have a good day and enjoy the cake!

DD Safely delivered to nursery despite the snow - if her nursery wasn't so wonderful I'd be really cursing choosing a nursery in another rural village right about now but I guess it's a small price to pay.

Had the bright idea to ask nursery head what she did with her fleeces from her Jacobs (we had a box of hoggart last term which is how I knew they have a few Jacobs) and she's going to sort me out a fleece when the barn is open for my felting. Might also be going into nursery to do some felting with the kids as I was saying how much DD enjoys it and how good it is for her (bilateral actions and sensory interaction).

    Have a good day all.

Happy Birthday 7ww :) enjoy your cake

softstuff - am so sorry I dragged it up again for you and I am so cross on your behalf, how dare they:mad:

I am having a day when its like walking through treacle, everything I touch is going wrong, which my sensible head says means I am doing something right and its just the bad stuff trying to stop me but still my heart gets a little bruised :D
OH has a "stomach bug" he says, which has meant that they day he took off to cover everything is still unmanageable and that I cant go to the hospital just in case. This afternoon I am supposed to be at a presentation, pick up two kids, get DS14 to an appointment in next time and attend a governors meeting - they all overlap so some cuts are being made.
Dont want to get my dad to do any just in case it is a bug and I contaminate their household and stop my mum visiting my uncle :D

ETA - totally forgot my one bright spot, I have been accepted onto a training course which will qualify me to be a parent advocate at legal proceedings relating to school :)

Morning everyone, happy birthday wishes - sorry if im late, i usually am!

we have thick fog here. And so many blooming idiots with no lights on their cars grrrr. Im sure if they were involved in an accident there insurace would be invalidated, and if it isnt then it should.

Have had a few internet problems, i think ive altered something when i shouldnt. And the nortons has just expired, to renew is £49 but arg0s has it on offer for 19.99. I really worry as we got some nasty worm thing and it killed the laptop, theres some very wierd folk out there that send these viruses out.

Had a big clean up i the kitchen, repainted the wall near the kettle as it seams someone has flicked a teabag against there and its marked the wall.

Just been to mr m, as OH had received a £5 miles voucher. Havent shopped there in ages, but then i rememebred why. It is so expensive. Milk is 1.49 for 4 pints, in our freezer shop her0n it is only £1. thats 50% cheaper.

Well must do some more cleaning, im trying to get orgaised. Any help greatly appreciated lol

    keep warm everyone x
