Delurking to say Happy Christmas and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year to all the lovely, kind, considerate posters on here.
It is rare to find so many lovelies in one place.0 -
Happy Christmas to you all!
I have made my mince pies and tidied the front room so apart from wrapping little brothers extra christmas prezzie, and wrapping a dolls house and all its furniture for my youngest i am done. Middle daughter and brother have just left to take mince pies to two of my cousins who requested and who also followed my rules of sending over a container for them.
Enjoy your day tomorow and i hope the day goes to plan.

Evening all.
Katieowl what wonderful news for Christmas.
The ham is baking in the oven Mr VP is cleaning the downstairs loo and that's the VP's all ready to roll. I am really looking forward to having the family around tomorrow, and mum enjoys a day off cooking and washing up.
Hope you all enjoy yourselves and I will see you on the other side of Christmas.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.

You too Aria but at least you are still there!
It's cold and windy outside...but still plan to venture out to church for the Service around Midnight and yet..I dozed off and woke with a start. Doing that more and more of late...
Been getting a tinge of stomach ache these past days. Enough to know its there but not enough to say I am in a lot of pain. Hope it goes as quick as it came...can't blame eating too much...
Its kind of tradition on Xmas Eve around here that Santa goes around the streets in a kind of open top van with lights and bells shouting Merry Christmas and waving. Gives a few sweets away and some children have a photo taken. He's all over the town and I think it is a free service.
Thought I'd missed him but as I walked up my street after being in the SM who should be parked virtually outside my home? But Santa who waved and shouted Merry Christmas to me too.
For a little while things seemed almost like old times and this big kid of mature years was waving back and shouting "Merry Christmas Santa" as enthusiastically as anyone. We managed Christingle which was lovely, although 300 people was a few too many for DS8 but hey I know next year.
