Jem:- Yes the cake is right. You use ICE as the contacts name and put in your number. I think it became well used after 9/11 and 7/7. We certainly have it in our phones and the emergency services are told to look for it so that close relatives can be easily contacted.
Sorry that you are still poorly, I hope your feeling a bit better soon. :grouphug:
But not if the phone has a password!

Morning everyone, we too had a flooding albeit a few years ago. The rainwater from the house couldnt go anywhere, and there was no soakaway. We lost the tumble dryer, washing machine, freezer and sofa. It took weeks for the insurance cmpany to sort out. Thankfully the council had contractors in virtually straight away to dig a huge soakaway in the middle of the garden.

Today is back to work day, OH arrived home yesterday with his first christmas card from one of his regular deliveries. They had popped £20 in the card and said, treat yourself!!! It was so nice and as he said totally unexpected, as we know everyone is finding things hard this year.

My eldest daughter had just rang we are meeting in the pub for a sandwich today, havent got much spare cash really but we can share one. It annoys me so much, we work so hard but never seem to have any spare money.

If anyone here shops at ALDI... tomorrow there is money off vouchers in thursdays MIRROR newspaper. Usually there is a fiver off, handy if you go there, or can afford to stock up. Will be shareing the total with my mum.

    Have a safe day everyone.

Hi all, hope things are improving for you all. I have a question , would you like me to continue putting the weather predictions on here or would you rather I didn't post them, or just post them on another thread? Thanks
