Hi
Sorry to be so late in responding to this, but I only just logged on this evening and this thread moves on soooo fast!
Here is the original post of the fruit cobbler recipe.... (if I have done the linky thing right...)
was it really that long ago?????0 -
Thanks softstuff
well done on getting finished for Christmas, my aim is to be entirely done before end of November as I really want to do all the Christmassy stuff and enjoy it without the panic of still having stuff to do.
If you had someone half way competent, they could install those switches for you. Heck, I could do it, but it's a bit far to travel
I'll be honest, the way I feel right now I just want the whole of Christmas over and done with painlessly. I'm making the effort for 2 reasons though, want hubby and his family to have a nice time and want to cover up how bad I'm actually feeling! Because Christmas is generally one of my favourite things, so if I'm not happy about it, then I really must be crappy!Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -

Thinking about Kate, hope she's alright. She'll be surrounded by Sunday morning sports injuries.
HAHAHA... How RIGHT you were. I was there for four hours! Bearing in mind it's an hour away for starters...there were at least four maybe five lads wheeled in still caked in mud in their rugby kit, and several older ladies who'd fallen over! One poor bloke with a broken arm came in by himself and was in serious danger of fainting when one of the injured old ladies went over to the counter and asked them to hurry up seeing him before he passed out.
Anyway. I haven't broken anything, but he said it may take 'weeks' to heal
They offered me painkillers, but I've got some prescription strenth anyway, and they offered me crutches, but I've got a stick anyway, and I saw how long one of the rugby casualties waited for them to arrive with his so we just said no and went home.
I'm OK if I'm comfortable and not moving. It's hell when I get up and start again though, and if I accidentally twist my right leg, it's a yelling matter. Instant Cramp.
Thanks for all the good wishes.

Glad to have you back with us, katie, and that there's no break. We're terrible nags, aren't we?
Hope all will be well soon.

I iron towels, two reasons if you don't use fabric conditioner it softens them up a treat, also if you wash at cooler temps it kills of the bugs that washing at low temps doesn't remove.
Nope - still ain't doin' itI don't mind a "crispy" towel.
VJsMum, this washload shall result in a larger-than-usual Mount Ironmore; 2 hankies (one large, one small) and the cotton curtain out of the bathroom.
blimey - don't strain yourself, GQ :rotfl: Shouldn't you spread it out a bit?
I am refreshed after 8 hours sleep and ready to face my final teaching day here :T Day of sightseeing tomorrow and then ready to fling myself westwards in a slim silver tube on Weds. I will be happy to not do this again for a while - although I have really enjoyed it and the Korean people I've met are amongst the kindest people I have ever known.I wanna be in the room where it happens0
