:p I have heard that some people iron towels but I've never met one to ask why.

I iron towels, two reasons if you don't use fabric conditioner it softens them up a treat, also if you wash at cooler temps it kills of the bugs that washing at low temps doesn't remove.

Jem - you are about to be nagged by the worlds champion naggers - look what happened to poor katie we nagged her into A&E and she hasnt been seen since :) Seriously though if its still bleeding you really do need help, walk in centre would be best if you can get there. :)
Whereabouts in country are you Jem - any chance of you managing a meet with some of us ?

jem what do you want to do? What would make you a little happier? Get your head together with DH and see if you can have some time together, doing something you want to do. Sometimes the mundane stuff is all the more bearable when you have something to look forward to. It doesn't matter how small!

Worried about Katie! I hope she's just resting up and not logged on.
  • PAH I am so sorry to hear waht you have been going through, it is so nice to see you posting again. I remember my closest friend going through something similar but she couldnot see it. Fortunatly I was able to persuade her to go back to the GP who took her off them and prescribed another tyoe of anti D which suited her much better. I love the blanket it looks so cosy.

Have spent the afternoon with my friend with the new baby, a 1yr old and a 6 yr old. DD2 spent the afternoon entertaining the 6yr old and I swopped between both babies. Had a wonderful time but have done too much lifting and carrying and my back/hip is protesting now. I don't know how she does it especially as she is breast feeding the newborn and the other baby is still having night time feeds. Super woman springs to mind :A.

Have made special fried rice tonight having been inspired by softstuff. Clear plates all around.

It's a bit worrying not hearing from Katieowl. I hope she is ok.
I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order :D.

  • jem your fingers are very full of nerve endings at the tips, so your grated finger will throb. You need to sit quietly and try and get your hand higher up. You shouldn`t need to see the doc but see how it goes tomorrow. If it looks fiery red or if the red spreads, then go
