Morning all, thanks for the nice words about the comments, I have decided to delete it and forget about it.
It is brighter here today which is nice as yesterday was really dull and rainy and grey and horrible. I hate days like that, as they seem to drag and drag.
My Guides made me so proud last night, we gave them sheets to attach coins of any denomination to when they did a good turn last week. We are then going to donate any money raised to the Poppy Appeal. They have raised over £40.00 I am really chuffed!
Oh well, work is calling and then I have to hit the books tonight as it is a reading week for college as our tutor is away. Fingers crossed my balance sheet balances......I promise that I will do my best.....0 -
I live on Omeprazole and Gaviscon, wish I could get rid of GERD. Got a hiatus hernia. I'm feeling really bleugh today, sick of looking at rain, sick of listening to the RV moaning, sick of all the days being the same. Somebody kick me!0

You don't need a kick Mar, you need a hug!
Kittie, that's really kind of you. Thank you, just for a bit of peace of mind really and If it is going to be dire weather, well at least I know. Every day past 10th December here cost us an extra £15 a day.
Doggy walkies time. Using up frozen beef burgers, frozen chips and a pasta sauce for tea. Then more packing, sorting and cleaning.
Oh, I altered DD's curtains to fit her new windows yesterday and bought some material to make other DD's pink curtain (singular :rotfl:) for the [STRIKE]prison cell[/STRIKE] box room bedroom window.
Also the house has no curtain tracks so have to factor in buying those.0 -
Morning everyone, have another relaxing day today. DD is at the hospital today re wisdom tooth that is growing towards her jaw not upwards. Very bizarre, last timw i went with her they took the other wisdom tooth out there and then. Lets hope they can do the same again.
My brother is looking to move house, theres is already sold the hunt is on. They thought they had found somewhere but the plans and sizes didnt match up with the actual garden. Was a bit strange, and after a lot of thinking they have decided to not go ahead. So today i am going to be nosy and look around a house with my SIL.
Wonder if i can see any nice deocaring ideas!!!! lol
I didnt know you could have probitic's if you have IBS. I basically have food like my mum/nan made as any fancy ingredients make it flare up along with stress/worry/crying.... It came aftermy dad died suddenly, didnt cope very well and then Mr Ben my dog dies on St Georges day last year.. Would love another dog but OH says I become too attached. Well he was MY little man, and he loved me however i was feeling.
Well the bathroom needs cleaning, and I must hoover the rugs. Hope everyone has a nice day. Looks like we have some sunshine for once!!BSC member 137

It's funny how DH is the one with inherited stomach problems and I'm the one who has all the sinus infections. This one isn't too bad, it's just making me grumpy and dizzy.
Last night's yellow split pea soup was a successEven DS1 ate it and he normally turns his nose up at stuff like that. There is some leftover in the fridge for lunch and another ham to cook so when I do I'll make more soup for the freezer.......if I can cram it in. It does need defrosting, but I can't see that happening anytime soon. I am trying to decide what to cook for dinner. It should really be something involving lots of veg, but am undecided about cooking the ham. DS2 will be happy with me if I do, but I'm not sure I want that much salt today.
Ok, I'm rambling....time for some breakfast and yet more laundry. The bottom of the basket is in sight.
Take care everyone xxxxx0 -
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday Dear Sheila. Happy Birthday to yooooooooooou!" Yey! :bdaycake:
Come on toughies, rally round. It's a sodden awful life at times... sodden is the right word! Things to be pleased about - um, I can bake and I can eat what I bake
Who is next0 -
Happy birthday Shegar.
We have extra children coming tonight so I will make a pizza I think, that's usually safest and I still have huge catering bags of pizza base from Approved Foods to use up anyway. Managed to get DH to work before the school run today, so starting to believe it might be possible to manage without another car which would be great. Need to be listing stuff on ebay, like lots of dresses from the Wardrobe of No-Longer-Doom, but I keep mentally putting it off as I hate doing it. Kick me in the bottom please.0
