Oh Mardatha, keep meaning to say, I'm going to try the kelp, I'm seeing my dr tomorrow and will check it's ok, but can't see why it wouldn't be. You can tell how effective they are for you just from your posts, I am so glad you are feeling better. :)

What am I like? I can't find the house keys for the front door even though I must have had them on Thursday otherwise I would have been locked out...so I hated being down to one key and have had another cut. Three days on still can't find them.

Also lost a membership card for a club I go on Sunday for company and a small game of bingo(only picked it up last weekend)not a good start...

I don't believe that they were thrown out in the clear out so they'll turn up but at present I can't think where...

Was going to go to Durham as planned and then decided to rest and as I don't plan to buy anything and have no room in the fridge freezer its silly to go...this time.

Thank you for the support :)

Love to all, I really appreciate your friendship and support and knowing that its ok to post when a little melt down happens like last night. I'm sure that by typing it out last night helped me sleep. I'm just sorry you have to read it. It's really rather embarrassing.

That's how I feel, I know if I can just tell someone/write it down usually, it somehow releases the tension and I don't stew over it. My friends are lovely and supportive, but sometimes, they have something going on in their lives which takes precedence and although I know they will support and listen, I don't want to burden them with my moment of misery of the same ol'' same ole'. That's how I felt on Friday, it's just a snapshot of my life I put on here, it's not the whole picture and doesn't represent me day to day. It doesn't sit easily on me to share my feelings, and I'm often embarrassed later when I read the stuff!

I'm still grieving over Bess, it hit me hard at the beginning of the month, so lots of things currently take on too big a proportion feelings wise and I'm ready to snap at a the slightest trigger, so anyone who wants to sort out anyone, I'm your man....uuhhhmm, woman, :rotfl:

I'm going to make this in a little while, have a cauli lurking in the bottom of the fridge, bread is on, I've hoovered, not watered the plants yet, but neighbour is out in the garden and I like to be out and in my own thoughts so will wait till later. Does anyone enjoy the nurturing of plants but not look forward to the picking of them, because then they are gone...no? Just me then, ;)
Beautiful day, weather wise, and I'm enjoying doing all the above as it's a lazy day today, no work, no running DD around (I paid for her train and taxi fare home yesterday as I couldn't face the drive!)

Polo is sunning himself in his favourite spot and all's right with the world. :)
  • BYATT it's the best part of our day when we go and water the garden and hothouses, mind I do love the feeling of bringing the crops to maturity and using them in the kitchen too, particularly if I can make jam or chutney and keep on enjoying them through the year.

I would like a nice gooseberry chutney recipe, as I don't want to just eat them as fruit or make a pie, would like to enjoy them for much longer. :D
