Agree with the tea making and with the rattyness!
As soon as my eyes open I think to myself get that kettle boiling.....I always fill my kettle before I crease my sheets, so I dont have to wait long to get my first cuppa of the day.........
I have 3 large mugs in the first half hour of the day, without it Im no good at all, I think I must drink at least 13 mugs a day.......:)
You cant beat a good mug of co op tea.......:D
Mardartha , give us the yellow ball back please, im lost without it......Had a chilly start to the day , cloudy, damp, then the ball come out to play at about 5 pm..........So you must now be cloudy and sunless...?...

Oh Sheila, you would hate it at our house!
Only one brew a day, unless we have a meal that needs tea (boiled eggs and soldiers comes to mind), and then only in winter :rotfl:.
OH has a coffee at breakfast time, and sometimes another mid morning, then that's it till 3!
A box of teabags lasts ages here!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -
Surely can BYATT - all credit goes to MEENLARAGH though, I'm just the middle man!!! (figuratively speaking that is, Ize a GURL!!!)
The Pioneer Womans Pulled Pork
5 - 7 lb shoulder of pork joint
1 onion cut into quarters
1 tablespoon of chilli powder (I shall use chilli seasoning)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
4 garlic cloves peeled or equivalent amount from a jar
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
2 teaspoons of ground cumin
1 tablespoon of salt or to taste
fresh ground black pepper
3 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
Put the pork into a heavy ovenproof casserole or dutch oven with a tightly fitting lid. Blitz all other ingredients in a food processor and pour over the pork joint. Add 2 cups of water, cover tightly and cook in a pre heated oven (150 deg C/Gas Mk 2/300 deg F/ 130 deg C Fan Oven)for 6 - 7 hours, turning the joint over once every hour. Check to make sure the meat is tender, turn up the heat in the oven to220 deg C/Gas Mk 7/425 deg F/200 deg C Fan Oven and roast uncovered for 20 minutes. Shred the meat with a pair of forks, remove most of the surface fat from the sauce and pour sauce over the shredded meat. Mix well. Serve in Bread Rolls, or tortillas and sprinkle with lime juice.
I'm sure that will work in a slow cooker just as well as in the oven, enjoy, Cheers Lyn xxx.0 -

Sorry rant aler t coming up.
I'm supposed to be going to a funeral tomorrow morning, my OH told me he's working so spent all day trying to sort out a babysitter for an hour. Plan is go to the service then come back home. Well my sister said she would come over if I couldn't find anyone. But my biological mother had put the sh! Ts up her saying she can get shingles. Even my bio mum wouldn't look after him. So my dad might be coming to the rescue yet again. It's just he will be working nights then coming over and looking after an ill child. Arghhhh so angry.
It's just I might not be able to him up as he is really deep sleeper.
I know I shouldn't whing, but I do all sorts for them. then when I ask for help nothing. Couldn't even.get bio mum to bring over some milk for me. Instead had to wait for either oh or ds1 to come back from school so I could go and by some.0 -
Awwwee, Kez, wish I was nearer so I could help. Bloody families. Everyone needs a mum who will be there for their kids, I couldn't imagine not being there for my DD. (((((hugs))))
