Afternoon Toughies, back home and it's nice to be on 'my' patch again. Wonderful concert on Saturday, in Coventry Cathedral which is the most stunning building and the organ is unbelieveable, just the best I've ever heard but it was a l o n g day and we were so tired when we got home again. Have just come back from walking my boy and the village has bloomed over the weekend and everything smells nice, it's so lovely to see trees with leaves isn't it?
Happy Birthday to all the birthday folks, ROSIE PP I'm so sorry to hear about your poor kitten cat, hope you are feeling better now, FUDDLE and KEZLOU so nice that your meet up was the great success it sounds and really pleased you'll do it again, that's lovely for both of you.
Pushkin kitten has doubled in size and is SOOOOOOOOO naughty, but beautiful, it's a very long time since I was around kittens and I'd forgotten just how fast, spiky and downright naughty they could be, when do they stop being so skitty?
Have a good evening folks, Cheers Lyn xxx.0 -
Loving the tea pot and cup & saucer stories. I have 3 complete china tea sets also 1 that is white, a bit chunkier and part of a dinner set from in-laws. I also have with bits of china sets. Just love them. My goodness, tea tastes splendid in them.
Just had a heavy shower here so hope that will clear the air a bit. Cooler weather from tomorrow hurrah.

Nice to have you safely back from Forn Parts, Mrs LW. Kittens seem to stop being kittens at about a year, although they can revert to kittenhood on a whim (or on a high wind) forever, it seems.
They are adorable but boy, do they get into some ridiculous scrapes. I'm thinking of one particular specimen who ended up in a fishtank on her first day at our home. An abandoned fishtank in the back garden, which she jumped into after kangarooing out of my arms. Green scummy water.........lovely!
Was allotmenteering at the weekend an the ginanormous lilac a few lotties away was in full bloom and great gusts of perfume kept washing across me as I worked. Ummmmmmmm, it was so lush.I have broken my usual habit of not allowing non-natural products onto my lottie but purchasing copious quantities of SLUG PELLETS. Oh yes, I plan to protect my three bean-wams in a moat if blue and let the blighters chow down on that.
 Belated birthday greetings to our birthday girls cheapskate and cranky.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Ooh my Glastonbury tickets arrived at 7am this morning!! Can everyone keep their fingers crossed that the weather dries up!
VJs mum I remember you had tix with your son, I am going with my boyf for the second time, but we have done lots of festivals over the past few years. We even met at Leeds festival 4 years ago!
If you want any tips or have any questions just let me know. I have developed over the years my essential list of stuff to take and it gets updated after each onei meant to say before but it slipped my mind until now.
I have Glastonbury on my twitter feed and have spent today looking through all the info. I can't wait!
Oh thank you for remembering - sorry to be so tardy in replying I was away for the weekend.
I am well excited, but quite anxious too. The first thing i have to do is learn how to pitch the tent. That list of essential stuff - is it emailable?I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
VJSmum - buy a pop up tent!0
