Everybody gets abused in Glasgow I think that's normal GQ. That's why I never go there LOL0

I don't get abused in Glasgow if they know my surname. Otherwise I'm fair game like everyone else. I like Glasgow.
I love the Nac Mac Feegle, I have a soft spot for Billy Bigchin and Daft Wullie. Plus of course, Wee Mad Arthur, the Feegle cop. Can't forget that name.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." If anyone wants a treat that is not too naughty but tastes like it IS!!!!!! two slices of wholemeal bread spread with Mr.T's lowest fat creme fraiche, topped with sliced strawberries and sprinkled with stevia granules turns into the nummiest afternoon tea on the planet when paired with a nice cup of tea, and it feels deliciously naughty too!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmm.........0

That sounds quite similar to my version Lyn: I use Dutch crispbakes topped with low fat plain cream cheese and fruit conserve. Usually A!di's as it's very cheap. Strawberry is best, but blackcurrant is good. Allowing for the difference in bread/crispbake calories my conserve probably comes up with the same total calories as yours, not as healthy though. I have this all the year round though and refuse to buy watery strawbs.
Edit: Lyn is right, tastes heavenly...Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Evening all, back from a spell being AWOL - too much RL rubbish to deal with!
Fuddle - just caught up properly now, realise your problems, your poor lass! Kick @rse, there's a good fuddle! :rotfl: WIll chat tomorrow if you're not busy x
Mum has first memory assessment thingy next week, combination of hoping/dreading a diagnosis, expecting very early stage of some sort of dementia, genetics dictates it in a big way. If it is, at least we'll know.
One fave treat I've rediscovered - a local dairy makes lush vanilla yogurt, got cream in it, but with fresh fruit is as sinful as said fruit with cream, but fewer calories, if that makes sense?
TC on the change, GC restarted, back on the MSE/OS wagon (feels like home!), glad some of the regulars are back (even Nursie!), have missed you all these last couple of weeks!

My Mum went for the post op check up after her thyroidectomy and no cancer was found :j:j:j Which is amazing if you saw the goitre she had and the way her voice box was being pushed sideways. I can now breathe a sigh of relief for a while.
Actually got out for a couple of hours today, hubby took me for lunch (voucherBogoff) Then I nipped in a craft shop and got a couple of cheap bargains so all in all a lovely day.
Possession I used to nip round the local canal (filled in canal that is) and collect dandelions when we had all the rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, they are by far the most nutritious greens you can get for them. Of course you have to be careful you dont pick them anywhere there might be weedkiller used.Clearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -
My guinea piggies thrived on dandelions but they do increase urine output, so be prepared to cage -clean a bit more often. The French didn't call them p*ss-en-lit for nothing!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
