Feeling an urge to indulge - Spend £30 or more on L'Occitane and I can get a collection worth £25 made up of items I would use bar a perfume (and that I might like if I tried).

However, there is NOTHING I need so anything I buy will just get added to the stash list, and whilst I can claim I could use the gift collection as a present, wouldn't it be better to just buy a friend a present I think they'd really like??

To be fair, I did give a friend some L'Occitane for her birthday and she really liked it BUT I've already got a few L'Occitane gift sets tucked away so there's no excuse. Am sure if all I want to do is add something to the stockpile I can do it cheaper after Christmas.

Anyone ever wonder why they feel this compulsion to spend? Every time I think about it there are a number of different reasons that come to mind, not sure any on their own explain it. Makes it a bit harder to fight back when I am not sure what I am battling against!

I've felt like this in the past. Totting up how much I could spend to get free delivery/free gift but I then got around to thinking that I was spending to fill the stash. These offers will come around again believe me.

Thanks for the heads up - it was fine when i took it off this time,. but if i leave it on for any length of time I'll bear it in mind !! Wouldnt do to be going to work with blue tinged nails, boss would have a heart attack !!

My next fish is likely to be called Tom Daley.... :heartsmil

Had to google Tom Daley - very funny x Maybe we caused our fish to have psychological damage and become very paranoid by calling him Mulder??

Forgot to mention I have another UU - my beloved Clinique Lash Power mascara has fun out. Am now using a High Impact one that I got as a GWP some time ago.

We went to a bonfire last night and whilst rooting around in my drawer for my gloves (I only found one of these) I found the small pot of LE Superbalm that I thought I had lost. Will use this on my cuticles when I run out of my L'occitane shea butter and OPI Avoplex oil.

Rosemary54 - makes sense - sorry for being completely dippy - here's hopping for a less dippy today!

Indiepanda - Glad to know i'm not alone on this one. Brought a lot of Chanel once apon a time cause the packaging was so lovely - such a sucker I was!:rotfl:

Used my new Avon vibe cleanser this morning, made my skin feel lovely and smooth and my foundation went on so much smoother, skin did feel slightly tight in places, but time will tell if it keeps it up!

    Happy Wednesday everyone:)

I am rather proud of myself, went into TKM** and B**ts and did not buy a thing (not even a lovely Cashmere cardi), lot of nail polish and lovely bath things, but managed to walk out with wallet intact.

H cycling this morning, so off for a pamper, face mask, mani and pedi (cuticles are a bit gross) and may even get to repaint nails.

Damp and grey here, hope it is better where you are.

Hello again, had to update my stash list:

first UU of the month bumble & bumble sunday shampoo - had a spare in my stash so yes WBA, not sure if it's the best as I havent tried any other detox shampoos but I do love the B&B range and it seems to work well.

Need to get on with putting some info in my sig to motivate me!! Am still waiting on my beauty bible stuff to arrive, so that's going to be a big in of 10 items! So wishing it had arrived last month now! x

  • thank you for all your kind messages. I'm slowly starting to come out of shock.

I haven't really bought much, haven't really used much the last few days. I did manage to go out with a friend and buy some christmas gifts. I ended up getting 2 china glazes for £1.07 each, so I thought that was a bargain that I couldn't miss.

my biggest IN however has been enrolling myself into a nail tech course.

    hope everyone is well x
