They promised us the earth before we signed the contract & then appear to have done nothing & we had only one viewing. We ended the contract after the minimum term.
We then looked in to Housenetwork & decided to give it a go – we have gone for the “all inclusive” package & paid upfront. So far they have been totally professional & very quick to get things together. Our property is just about to go live, so we will update here as things progress. For anyone that is interested here is a 5% discount code – just quote GUKGUXIEKM & get 5% off any package you choose.
I’ll be happy to answer any direct questions as things progress – hoping for a quick sale!
I'll be more than happy to post a link as soon as it goes live on Monday/Tuesday.0 -

That's very encouraging. No one here wants toput you down if you have something genuine to share.0 -

I attempted to provide a link to my propery listing as suggested but as a new member it isn't allowed :-(0 -
Nothing posted here yet this year? OK then. I am thinking about selling my home through housenetwork. I was all set to use my local estate agents (i.e. fees of 1% plus VAT), then I stumbled across this thread. I had already come to the conclusion that if I could just pay money direct to Rightmove and upload my own photos, I would. I had already looked on Rightmove for 'online estate agents', but couldn't see any.
After researching Housenetwork I am impressed, and I'm a cautious person. I have tried to read back through some of these pages, and they are very helpful. I will keep you posted on how it goes.0 -
I don't know how to link to a post which is in a different forum, but anyone thinking about using Housenetwork should also look at the 'online estate agents'. Specifically, look at Lister's comments in Jan this year. Be aware that Housenetwork is being discussed in two different places.0

This is the thread that Growingmyown is referring to. Yes, I used housenetwork to sell our house in two days and was extremely pleased with them. Note that there are lots of other online estate agents around now that are cheaper, but I have no idea how they compare. There are a few reviews on this site of other ones.

Just to update further. My house sale with Housenetwork is all but done. They were great and kept my informed every step of the way -I can't recommend them enough. When I first signed up, I toyed with electing to choose the more expensive 'commission' package thinking it would incentivise them to sell it for me, but in the end I went with the (cheaper) flat fee up front and I'm glad I did. All of the viewers came from Rightmove or the for sale boards (which I'm glad I bought from HN at an extra cost as that's how my seller found the property). HN needed no 'incentivising', they worked hard on my behalf (I'm guessing their incentive is that they want your sale complete so the case is closed and they have no more work to do).
Anyway, all in all a great job by HN, would definitely recommend.

So your house sale is all more or less wrapped-up inside a month? That's very quick!0 -
Not quite wrapped up yet, but almost done.
The flat went on Rightmove on the Friday, and I had an offer on the Monday! As I said previously, I'm not giving HN all the credit for this (if anything it's thanks to Eckhart Tolle -but that's a different matter entirely!!).
My buyer is paying cash(!!), so yes things have happened very quickly. We haven't exchanged contracts yet, but the bit that involves HN is done. So my review of them is 'complete'.0
