I called them this evening. They said they are still in the process of sending out invitations. Hopefully i will get mine soon, but dont think it will benefit me much.

Interesting I just phoned them and was told to phone back between 8 and 11 and they could see what they could do 'depending on my circumstances..'. which sounded ominous..

I have a new tab on the top left hand corner of my online banking, just after the red and white Santander Logo, there's a "select" tab
but it's not a live tab- ie: cannot click
Does this mean it's an invitation?

I think you should phone up Santander and enquire?

No. It means you ARE a Select customer. Your letter is probably in the post.

It's not a clickable tab, it's just part of the logo/branding.

You don't need the letter once the logo shows - just go to http://www.santanderselect.co.uk/ to see what's available. Don't get too excited.....

Nothing different, same old.Not too bothered about upgrades, but if it's for free, I'll have it. Guess they will issue a new card as well.

They'll give you a new card if you ask for it.

    I haven't asked. They haven't sent me one. I don't care. :)

Actually their home insurance, particularly the contents part is attractive.
Also I have asked for the Select card, I'd like to be able to withdraw £750.00 in case of emergency. it is also contact-less.

I did a comparison about a month ago with the best ones I could find on comparison sites and via Quidco/TCB and found Santander overpriced, and not offering anything I couldn't get elsewhere.
