I was having some issues with Santander and was struggling to get any sense out of them via the secure message service. I phoned the "Select" team number, not expecting much to be honest, but they couldn't have been more helpful. They applied common sense and sorted the issue out straight away! They also answered my call after 1 ring and were based in the UK. I am really impressed.0

I'm on Select, but was definitely charged £5 instead of £2 for my 123 current account at the end of January.0 -

What proof do you have of that claim?
I have had to take the rise to £5 a month like others have0 -
You do realise that post is nearly a year old?0

Received invitations, and just wondered whether there is any more recent feedback on anything worthwhile on offer to select customers other than the better hotline.
Thanks.0 -

That hotline is good. Also they do offer better savings rates to Select customers and occasionally the higher limit on cash withdrawals is useful.0 -

For instance, at present their 2 year fixed ISA rate is 0.55% but for Select customers it's 0.8%. Not great, I know, but at times the rates offered to Select customers have been competitive.0
