I was also going to suggest La Redoute - I got one there recently with one of the many codes they keep sending me and it's really big, the only on eI've found big enough for my table about £20 with napkins and all coulurs.
Failing that I've a smaller one I'm not needing anymore, if you want it..
Also John Lewis do teh plastic backed ones and we've a shop in glasgow called the cotton print factory shop (don't know if it's a chain) where you can buy the waterproof stuff off the roll.Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
Try Wilkinsons if you have one near you. My MIL bought some from there, and they were quite nice, with matching napkins sold separately. Reasonably priced too, less than £10 for a dining table size-ish one in jaquard type fabric.0

Try Superdrug. I bought a wipe clean one from there at the end of last summer very cheaply and a few weeks ago I bought a pale blue polka dot one. I think it was £2.99.
I should add they are quite thin, but have stood up well to be being used.
There's usually plenty at the jumble sales I go to. Bought one a few weeks back that we've been using as a picnic blanket this week. That was from a 'fill a bag for £1' sale....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

I have a couple ( ooh get me
)
One is a hand me down from family, the other was an ebay number with matching napikins and I got 2 for about a tenner. I have to say I went EVERYWHERE trying to get them, and it was a nightmare, the only place I could find was debenhams and they were about 40 quid. - i thought stuff that! I dont understand why they are so expensive really- at the end of the day they are only a piece of cloth.
Nowadays, Id be tempted to just go to a market stall where they do random and slightly dated fabric for a quid a metre and just use that!:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I bought a wipe clean tablecloth off the roll from The Range, for my kitchen table. Handy for when the little beggars do paining and crafts.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

You could buy a couple of cheap disposable ones to keep table protected while you find one, can't tell you the price at the minute but my local asda have quite a few. The really cheap ones are just like paper, but they do also have some that are 'rubbery' so they won't tear the minute you look at them!!!0

the army surplus store in town were selling white ones for a fiver I noticed the other week but they sold out quick, so if you have one of those nearby it might be worth an ask!I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0

If you can find a poundshop which sells a lot of catering goods as well (big packs of plastic cups ect), they would have one.0

I got my tablecloth (fabric, not plastic) from Matalan... it was a while a go but might be worth a look.Debt free date - June 2008 :T :T :T0

This won't help from the wipeable point of view ... but I made a tablecloth, runner and mats from a large piece of fabric which I bought and then I used wundaweb which I just ironed into the seam; they have survived being washed as well. My sewing skills aren't up to much but wundaweb saved the day. That's Numberwang!0
