Given my 40 years experience as a Microbiologist both in the Medical side and also as a Food Microbiologist I know the problem cannot be laid with ANY certainty at Chiquitos door. You have assumed differently?

That's not what I said. I have never claimed that Chiqutios was certainly responsible for the "incident".

The OP believes it was responsible and in my experience you tend to have an idea what has made you ill.

I always believe a poster has started to lose an argument when they state "qualifications" (that are impossible to prove or disprove) to back up their position

As a person in his 60's I assume you are having trouble with your eye sight?

Maybe it's just me, but if i had sickness and the trots on a Friday night, i wouldn't be off to the doctors on a Saturday morning. I'd just wait for it to pass.

I'd just assume i had picked up a bug and that it would sort itself out eventually. Just eat what you can manage to keep down, i usually have oatcakes and plain water.

I agree that to post and blame the restaurant was very unfair. I also agree with the comment about using a tablet to post from the bathroom, wonder if the OP cleaned the tablet afterwards ?
