I'm nearly at the end of my tether; am so upset.

Our buyers nationwide offer still hasn't been released! Te people we are buying off, I think, r understandably getting anxious. I'm so worried that they're going to pull out. I love the house we're buying.

Our buyer was told the underwriters were looking at it on thurs; still waiting to hear. The mortgage advisor is currently chasing it as much as poss.

Our buyer has given everything they've asked for. Valuation, income checks & credit check all fine. They requested a years bank statements on Monday, provided Tuesday. Apparently yet were looking at thurs.

    What more can we do?!
  • Text yesterday from NW saying solicitor has requested release of funds for completion on 7th Dec! Best get packing :beer:

There's nothing more you can do. I feel for you as I am in the same boat. I'm chasing, my solicitor is chasing. I was supposed to be completing next week - I'm petrified I'm going to lose my first proper own home (first time buyer who has always previously been in shared housing) because it is taking so long for the underwriters to assess.

I have my fingers crossed for you...

Oh I'm sorry you're in the same boat :( it's heartbreaking isn't it?!

Mentally I've left this house & moved into the new one. I really really thought this would be simple - it should be simple.

    I just can't believe how slow they've been; it's a nightmare!

I'm pretty convinced if its not offered this week then we'll lose te house :( I'm praying it doesn't come to that.

Ill keep my fingers crossed for you too.

I know it's silly etc but we can't even put a Xmas tree or anything up, as starting to pack & we were thinking we'd get a tree when in our new home.

I'm really trying to believe in fate & if its meant to be....

Yes!! :j Mine too. Phew. That was a long and stressful 7 weeks.

So, next step - exchange and complete. Hopefully by the end of the week.
