  • sneaks in - still frantically busy at Chez Moam, but keeping afloat on flying, and maybe even getting ahead a little !

But I have decided that next half term, DS goes to kiddie camp, DH stays at work and I have time off at home alone, if I am ever to get this decorating done. Two boys equals nothing doing, lots of fun and larks but not much crossed off my list, grrhh. But i may have calmed down by then :D

Small message re Christmas cards on the MSE thread if anyone interested.

  • Hi there

Just a quick update from me! Another busy day here. The new cat has settled down well and is eating ok and using the litter tray. We've been popping in to his room on alternate hours, then every two hours or so, to give him food and company, and he is a lovely natured boy.

I hope our original cat and he get on - I'm notlooking forward to 'introducing' them!

Flying wise, tidied round after breakfast, did HH paperwork and HH sorting old papers, and mags etc to clear the kitchen. Work this aft, then walk neighbour's dogs, rang (another) sick friend, and I'm sat here with a cuppa now - bliss! OH he'd cook the eve meal, so will remind him of that!

Good wishes to everyone - you all sound really busy! R x

This is information from the Cat Club to be found on the Village Hall section of the Archers website. The method appears to be tried and tested by many people over the past 4 years. Good Luck :D

Short bird: that is really brilliant, thank you! We had three cats before, but they all came from the rescue together. This is the first 'new' cat since we had to have my girlie (my avatar) put to sleep, and so the first time I've had to do this!

New cat will be grounded for at least a month, I don't want him shooting off!

I'll sit and read this at my leisure, thanks again, R x.

Just been to Morrisons. A lady asked me how I clean my dishcloth - another customer...discussion ensued about bleaching cloths (and which bleach to use, and how), washing them at 60 deg; washing machine cleaning (told her they needed a hot wash through every so often to clear the bacterial soup;)) and took her down the laundry aisle - we chose her new dishcloths and I suggested a bag of washing soda.

  • Hello all. Ive had a good day and got loads done :) most of the house looks nice and clean......all apart from the bedroom!! I know it was on the list today but its the worst room in the house and needs a big sort out!! Im concentrating on the rest of the house and then doing the odd little bits at a time on the bedroom?? I think otherwise im just not going to want to sort it all!! We have boxes and baby bits stored in our room as no where else to keep it all...need to sort through and get rid I think.
Hope everyone has had a goos day xx

Congrats to the money saving family!

Wonder what they'll call her - Prudence would be appropriate!
