Actually, do you know what? I may just go for this, give me a couple've days to do my budget...there is just one thing stopping me and that is whether we are still allowed to do Payment a day challenge or 1 debt vs 100 days as I usually make additional unbugeted payments for these. if we can then yeah, why not, sign me up! I am going to go for a food allowance of £20 a week, so £80 for the month, as OH tends to get most stuff in :-)Don't turn a slip up into a give up
*NSD Challenge Nov 0/10* *£10 a day challenge Nov £0/£300*
No buying unnecessary toiletries challenge-in it for the long haul

Good morning to you and WELCOME. You have been marked and you are numbered... any extra money saving / squirrelling is encouraged. Please keep this up - it is not classed as a "spend" as such. I was wondering if you would notice.:p I felt the contenders needed to scratch their commitment to the NSD's where it will be noted and celebrated in its own way... Thank you for the NSD idea! :T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. ... 1 FULL Day to go....
Good Morning to all you lucky lucky intrepid NOvemberites and welcome to what can only be described as a THRILLING day! For today is the last FULL day that you have to get your commitments committed, your food budget planned, your calendar marked for a count down and the chance for the lurkers to get their name etched in the Ninja Kat Savers Cult Hall of Fame! :rotfl:
For by this time tomorrow I want to you be settled in the knowledge that this is going to be a FANTASTIC journey in learning EXACTLY where all your pennies are going.... By this time tomorrow you will know what you need to get in the house, what basics are required ( cheese, milk, perishables etc.... cat food / dog food / husband food etc...
Tomorrow is the day for last minute prep because come midnight you are commited. Or for those who are already settled a very big congratulations.. for those who are not, don't panic... get out tomorrow and get some little bits together. I am going to do this all tomorrow evening when the vegetables at Tesco will be reduced, with today being "hopefully" my last NSD of October...
I am very excited.. so far we have a fan-dabby-dosey 27 contenders.. this is more than I could have dreamed of.. so thank you for joining me...
As of midnight on the 31st, when spirits may lurk and tricker treaters come aknocking... close your curtains, switch the lights off and get behind the sofa cause the little cretins don't want your Tesco Every Day value sweeties they want your money... HIDE NOW!!!!
This thread will therefore become a support network... post your weird and wonderful concoctions, highs and lows, stresses, crashes and where you may have out-done yourself in your achievements... we are all here for encouragement so share your woes..
To those who have not submitted your food budget make sure this is with me by midnight tomorrow... lets see what your made of...:rotfl:
Have a wondrous day folks..... Onwards and Upwards....“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Good Morning to you... £250 is very high for two people but since you are very new and I can virtually sense you quaking in your booties I will let you have this. Although technically aim for £200... if you really need that £50 then you know its there..take outs / restaurants are banned - bins on toast is very much in..
When you mean MOT dramas is this actually for your car..? Or am I being a bit special... do you mean dramas in general...?“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
