I cant believe how well you have all done with your NSD days! I just can't imagine being able to manage all of those. I am going to go for 10 for December and with a bit of planning I am sure I can do it!

I am marking up NSD #25 today. That's it.. I have an meal with a friend tomorrow who is only in her job due to her Mortgage and is desperate to get out and do something like massage for a living... however at the moment she can't even take time off to do a course... So I shall be Drill Seargant NSK and have "words"..:T

However I really want you to start DDD with gusto.. I want you all to relax tomorrow and get yourself something to eat for crying out loud...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:..speaking of which I had some of my AP wraps, leftover broad bean hummous, little bit of veg and onions with quorn fillets cut into strips and fried in chilli flavour.. nom nom nom....its all about the food! LOL!!!!

Seriously..as a reward go get yourself a freaking Starbucks, I know you're all desperate...:p

Hi just checking in- I fell bit off the no spend wagon this week and broke two no spend days- but I didn't go over budget as used money I have saved from a night out- so I'm not too disappointed as I made the money I had allocated stretch to all the things i wanted to do.

So that 22 NSD in total for NOvember for me- tomorow was due to be a NSD but have to go shoppng now as am working on saturday... so I'll break another NSD but in the name of earning more cash...swings and roundabouts me thinks.

Well done everyone on NOvember - its been a wake up call for me especially with regards to the food shopping and how much money we waste on this- so definitely want to look at keeping the monthly amount lower in future.

On that note I'm going to check out the DDD thread to weigh up the challenge and see how this could work for me. Maybe see you there xx

If anyone's after a coffee tomorrow and has a smartphone, download the Field Agent App. It's an app that tells you of little jobs that need done around you ( a bit like mystery shopping jobs). Anyway, I can't name the client due to confidentiality rules, but there are a load of Audits for posh coffee shops that take about 30 seconds to do and the reimbursement will pay for your coffee, a paper and maybe even a cake as well (although, it'll have to be a little cake!). I did one today (but didn't stay for the coffee - I just did the audit and banked the dosh :money:). I can't tell you how tempted I was to stay for a yummy coffee but, even though it would be cost neutral, I decided to come home for my cottage-ish pie, brussel sprouts and broccoli :A

Have just worked out what I have spent on groceries in NOvember I am under budget I spent 150 out of 180. I am very happy with this. Counting my NSDs and my reduced food budget I am £185 better of this month than usual I have money left in my bank at the end of the month which does not usually happen. :jThank you NSK and all for your support you are amazing :A

That's my Friday done, I can't believe NOvember is over already with 22 NSDs in the bag :T and a whole $1.50 of my budget to spare.

Well done to everyone and thanks for having me. I'll not be joining the DDD but might catch you all in the New Year.

Morning everybody!!! Frost on the ground means no bike! I am a ruthless money saving troll but I ain't stupid! This delightful travel card priced at £13.50 will come out of the DDD petrol fund! Cause I have £30 left in this months petrol fund and that's for my travel ticket to the airport later in DDD... My logic knows no bounds. I swear this is all psychological.. Explaining it to anyone other than another MSE box would render me under the slight abnormal "that girl Deschanels character with the great fringe" banner from whence there is no return.. I shall forever be seen at a nut. More so than before. So yes the money is from the same account but it's still DIFFERENT money.... Lol!

And yes typing on my phone is really annoying.. Just need an old old iPad for writing.. Cause I write better on the move.. Can't you tell..

I shall insert a poem towards the end of the day to close NOvember properly.. Until the. Gets your comments in...

Morning all, hope everyone's enjoying the last NOvember day

NSD 25 for me today as I'm having a lazy morning then working later so no opportunity for spends (hurrah for lots of work and no opportunity for spends!!!).

Back to the coffee (I'm not obsessed with those little red cups, just always looking for ways to not have to pay for them!!), Starbucks have teamed up with Living Social and if you buy a £5 ecard today, they turn it into £10 (Remember to go through Quidco for cashback). I think I'll do this by taking £5 from my DDD budget and having 3 Starbuck opportunities (or 6 if I have less exciting coffees) during those cold hungry walk around London days!
