Apart from eBay where do people buy their popcorn boxes from please? Not sure what size I want but most seem to be quoted as small so guess that is the right size. Thanks

I have seen someone selling Santa Soup without the verse for £3 each. Made me smile
. I've made 18. They took two jars of Cadburys Hot Chocolate, which is on special at Mr T's for £2 each, half price nearly. Marshmallows were in Aldi for 99p (snowman ones), mini ones were coloured and same price. The ones in Aldi were a bigger pack than £ land who were selling for £1 obviously! I already had a pot of chocolate chips from Costco and although they were dark chocolate have made 9 bags with those but bought white chocolate and milk chocolate bags at 32p each for the other 9 as the children are younger. I bought some candy canes and have those secured at the top to be used as a stirrer!
Have the verse to make and attach with curling ribbon and they're then finished.
Have made two cupcakes with flannels so far. I bought some Santa and Father Christmas paper cups but haven't cut them down as I thought it spoilt them. I have put chocolate Santa's, coins and couple of other sweets in the bottom, the flannel bottom (!) sits nicely inside with the lollipop through the middle. Even husband said they looked really effective for kiddies. Have 16 more to make and cellophane them all. Bought flannels from Mr T at £1 each, didn't want to skimp on those.
Many thanks to both OP :T. I've loved making them and I am sure the children will like them - even if they don't drink the hot chocolate themselves!
Now to look and see if there is anything I can make as a thank you to 8 lovely ladies.

Many thanks. I'll go and have a look but I only want the boxes. Going to cheat and buy the popcorn as not too sure how long it lasts and would like to have all 25 made up a couple of days before they are needed. :T0 -
I made some popcorn holders from this link-
They came out really well, just download template, print onto card, cut out and stick 'em together and there you are!:T

Many thanks
I realise this is a bit late, but Google The Graphics Fairy. The site has loads of free printables which you can adapt to make great old labels. I've attached an example.

Love all of the handmade and homemade goodies, you guys are on it! My gifts a bit of a mish mash of stuff that people like to a limited budget.
Ok, I've got a big favour to ask, can anyone inspire me of something to send to my cousins I can use a sewing machine, stick and glue stuff to my hearts content. I need to send gifts to my cousins, 1 male, 1 female and these gifts need to go in the post, I can just about stretch to £20 but would rather go to £15...
Any ideas or pointers in the right direction would really help very much!
I've just been looking at a 'prima makes' freebie insert from the summer and its so crafty, love it.
I'm a retro kind of girl, like second hand & charity but my cousins like to travel, they also seem to like the more expensive things in life!
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. Xx
It doesn't use a sewing machine, but these are as easy as anything to make. Just buy an atlas in the charity shop, cut pages to A4 size, stick onto some card, and whack it through your printer with whichever quote you like. I've done loads with old books. They look amazing, especially when framed. Total cost could be about £1 per gift, which leaves you with £14-£19 to spend on a great frame.

You could almost wrap that frame in pages from the atlas too! Fab idea. Are printers ok taking 2 layers of paper/card like that? I guess you could do a quote on plain paper to stick onto say the middle or something.

I printed one out and it looked good. As I want 20 though I/ve ditched the idea and decided to put the popcorn in Christmas paper cups as it worked out cheaper. Thank you anyway and I'll definitely look there again for anything else I need in the future.0
