Very s-l-o-w draining kitchen sink with air bubbles…?

I suspect the blockage is the outside wastepipe or outside drain, you have more than covered under the sink. If you can get to your outside wastepipe, check it for blockage. By simply pouring a bucket of water into your outside drain, will soon tell you if its the drain blocked.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I must have my thick head on here.... I just filled the sink with 3 inches of near boiling water, and when I felt the pipes under the sink, only the areas highlighted in yellow feel hot.
Why isn't it hot past the trap, at least until the T junction?
I don't get this at all.....0 -
Hi.
You have no flow of water so it won't get hot beyond the trap.
IMO....
The blocked waste is for the sink only. It will connect into the internal soil pipe quite close to the wall on the right of the sink (which is the bathroom?)
It will only affect your sink. (kitchen not bathroom)
I would use my power washer with the small bore tube cleaner and go into the waste from the pipe that goes through the left hand side of the sink unit.
The condensate waste connection needs to be remade under the boiler.
By the time you have talked these problems around you will have accumulated enough time at work to have a week off to get someone in and sort it.

Thanks. Yes, the the bathroom is the next room the right, there is the bath, then cupboard with combi-boiler in it, then the bathroom sink, then next room to the right is the toilet. No problems with bath drainage, bathroom sink or toilet flushing problems.Canucklehead wrote: »I would use my power washer with the small bore tube cleaner and go into the waste from the pipe that goes through the left hand side of the sink unit.

I don't have a power washer unfortunately
Good idea though.
Can I remake the condensate waste connection under the boiler?.0 -

Hiya, we have just had a blocked bathroom sink, tried all sorts to unblock it. We managed to get it half unblocked but was still very slow to drain.
Called the man out under an insurance policy in the end...He unblocked the sink using a wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Just a thought if you or a neighbour has one!The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Thanks, but there is NOTHING in the trap.
I just disconnected it all again, drained the water from it and it's clean as whistle, I just don't get it.
I have just plunged it hard again, NOTHING.
Then felt wet socks, looked under cupboard and water is dripping from the pipes all over the gas meter again, I must have pumped so hard it dislodged the plastic ribbed overflow pipe again.
This a joke
Will have to call a plumber in the morning. Jeez .0 -
You can't even dismantle the "T" joint as when I undid the knurled rings (in yellow), they retracted back up each pipe once loosened, but because of that stupid metal pipe circled in red, there isn't enough room to pull the whole "T" piece out, grrrr.0

That's what you should have done days ago.

then you can get the tee piece out separately and that then gives you access to the waste pipe themselves to try and find the blockage. But it seems to have been overcome by events.
