I forgot to post yesterday, when I was in store yesterday (asking for fingers lol) I asked when the 3 for £10 might end, and the lady said "at least another week I think".

Shows how much she knew.. the offer is not showing on my MSM today :(
Good morning! Still 14 boxes on 3 for 10.00 offer (in my area ?) on mys at 11.20 this morning.
I am not young enough to know everything.
  • I got a letter from CAHMS last week as I asked me doctor to refer DS a couple of weeks ago and they have said they would not get involved until he has a seen a Behavioural Paediatrician and they don't normally work with children under 11. He has only just turned 6. School have also said I need to get a correct Diagnosis myself x

I am so sorry to hear that, I am in Scotland so there might be differences as my son is also only 6 and has been through Cahms and has his diagnosis, unsure what a Behavioural Paediatrician does as we don't have them. My son does go to the hospital to a paediatrician every six months to check how he is doing but not specifically for behaviour, check includes height weight, eating etc. Be prepared to question everything and speak to your health visitor team as well, my doctors take nothing to do with ASD side only other general medical issues and didn't do the referal, it was the health visitors. I must admit, I hounded the services till I got appointments and I know it is hard to do but always tell them your childs worst days and how it things can impact on the rest of the family as well

It was several others guys who worked out what was happening and also investigated what else would glitch - but it was me that bought the Vinnies box and 2 boxes of chocolates that resulted in the Vinnies disappearing off the APG and the chocs comparing at full price.

Think I might be the 'guilty' one lol

I tried and posted no 6899

If I am then glad its helped peeps - nice to give something back :T:T
  • Morning all - skipping like mad today but hope evryone is ok - ((hugs)) if you want need one:):)
  • if you feel the school are in the wrong as they know your situation pull them up on it as its unfair to exclude when hes finding "surrounding "hard to deal with

im trying to get a refural but id perfure her to go to a school that will keep up with her ,

( theres a good few privet school(with falilaties to help my daughter but i cant afford the prices they want):(

by me so im going to start the process of trying to get a scholaship for her (its hard work nearly impossible but iv got to try as iv not got suport from docs and with out that its impossible to do anything basicaly:(

i dnt want to sound like a snob as if there was a state run school that would help id happly send there but there isnt i drive past two school to the one my dd goes to now as its the "best out of the 3" ,and dd2 will be goign to state school as shes ok or as people put it "normal" my dd1 is normal and h8t it when people say otherwise no 2 people are the same is my answerer,

I have a meeting tomorrow with the Behaviour Specialist who has provided the funding for school and she will be going in for at least 2 sessions a week if not more as ver worried. I am glad they are going in as they will be putting in place lots of strategies and even though we don't have an official diagnosis most of the strategies that for example help children with asperges and adhd will help a lot. The main problem is he has 2 different teachers who couldn't be more opposite in my opinion. My DS wants to go to school on 2 out of 5 days and I have passed them feelings onto the specialist who is going in to observe this week xx

The health visitors around here don't normally deal with children over 5 so it's my GP. I have found a very good hospital on website which is only 30 mins away and a specialist in this field so have emailed them and fingers crossed they might be able to help xx
