Feeling good, we went to the BBC Dance Proms at the Royal Albert Hall last night for my mister's birthday, fabulous comp win, it was so brilliant :T so many talented young people, I'm sure they'll go onto great things.
Lovely post, little Vosene Kids detangler spray, but it's not suitable for under 3 years so might give it to my friend, her DS is nearly 4.
Skint til tomorrow; successful boot fair on Saturday paid our travel fares yesterday :j so indoors today as no shops within walking distance.
So much catching up to do!

pattylabelle wrote: »It is my understanding from my own experience that a doctor only needs to refer you if you are an insurance case. I have done the above once for gynae and once for child eczema with no referral either time from gp. On both occasions the result was the same outstanding. I went local private hospital. You may have to wait couple of weeks for appt to see the private consultant- don't be shy on phone about asking for cost. Obviously if you had doctors notes to bring to first appointment then that would be good- your gp will support you on this one. If they don't you can pay for a copy of the notes- think £25ish and they have to produce that.
If he prescribes anything you can get your gp to transfer the script to an NHS script. These are my experiences - please don't shout at me anyone I am only trying to help this loyal mse girl:)
We are so desperate we need to try anything now.
Another company Behaviour and Therapeutic Intervention Service are now involved as he was excluded. He is finding things so difficult at school he needs one on one at all times but school have not had support as no statement. They have provided the school with emergency funding to provide somebody who I am meeting with tomorrow so fingers crossed he will start getting help.
The problem is his anger has now come home at the end of the day he hates us for sending him to the setting he can't cope with which I understand we are just trying to make home life a fun and relaxed place at the moment. I wish there was a magic wand I could use xxxNow on the 5:2 diet.

Still showing for me with 15 items available in the offer (lots more on As website).
I wonder how their system decides what gets included on MSM in your area (or if not logged in, does it use your IP address to identify rough location?) and where they take their feed from - we have 4As and 3 Ts reasonably close so saying it is out of stock/not available is a in my store is a pretty clever system as it does not know which I would use that day.

Morning all
I now have a few Fingers and Swiss Chocolate which obviously did not work....would it be ok to return the items, as I definitely don't want to pay that sort of money for them! Opinions please.0 -

Morning All
Please note
no disrepect to pattylabelle ( think that is a wonderful idea) but when I was starting out on the diagnosis route for DS I was advised to check with the Education Dept with Local Council first. As some councils will not accept a private diagnosis for extra help in classrooms or moving to more suitable supported school. It had to be Cahms(Children & Adolescent Mental health Services) or nothing. I'm am sorry tomaybe put a dampener on what sounds like a great idea but would hate for you to spend lots of money for something that you could not use. As for routine, yes it is vital, try a visual timetable at home and school, I also use a large sandtimer to count down an activity that he really likes doing when it need to end, to try and stop any meltdowns, ie coming off the computer

she has to go to bed at 6pm she clock watches (it makes me so sad)
she has to have food certain way on plate and eat certain way have drink in same place (but will eat anything and i mean anything)
she has to know in advance whats happening (i.e 2nite we going to chipshop for tea and going up the mountains to watch fireworks (nice and free apart from chips )but i had to tell her about a week ago and every day we have to go throu what we going to do that nite,. aswell as what going to be happening day to day,she even has to keep to same bed time routine i,e drink wait 2o min toilet and brush teeth kiss dad then dd2 then me then we read then lights out and bed , and has to be this everynite (she dosnt sleep at nanas much as she finds it hard to cope sleeping anywhere im not or daddy

at the moment im trying to get her a scholarship (hard work)to go to a better school as the teacher feel shes so advanced and i do ,
shes very popular with the kids but cant cope with it (in the playground shes find if she in class and they all workign or having disscution) she finds it to much when they all want to play , she pefures he 2 best friends and that taken long enough to make happen as she though after the bullying they were all going to be nasty to her
sorry for long post but iv had not the best time l8tly and i feel i can pour my heart out her and it helps me ,
It is so hard as a parent not being able to do something about it. You watch the little ones suffer xx
The worst day when he was excluded was Harvest Festival day and the day was completely out of sorts and nothing and I mean nothing went to normal routine. A parent has approached me about that morning and advised that the whole situation was not dealt with correctly as she witnessed the morning problems and she nearly went into class and took him out. Are you getting a referral or do you think changing schools will help you out?Now on the 5:2 diet.

pattylabelle wrote: »You know there is a way in which you can jump the system and whilst I know it should not be advocated you should take it. A one off private consultancy should cost you no more than £130 - ensure that that consultant has an NHS practice. When you are with him/her tell him that you have no insurance and that you want to go NHS for further appointments with him/her. He/she will read the situation in your favour. Ensure that you pay the £130 promptly preferably at desk:):)
£400 is too much to be parting with here. Only my opinion.
Still catching up but just wanted to add something here, its not the same but similar. When DS was little he had excema. It was really bad, so bad that he had to go into A&E a few times as his hands literally looked liked they'd be burnt:( We got so fed up with waiting for hospital appointments that I took him privately to see a consultant, did the same thing as Pattylabelle, paid the fee(Which was about £80 then) and straight away he said I'll see him under NHS as he needs more treatment.Appointment came through in a week for the NHS;)I did it out of desperation but it worked. We actually had insurance but he still did it as he felt so sorry for DS.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
