Morning
Happy birthday Danillenic (it's also my wonderful mum's birthday today).
It's a beautiful sunny day here. I'm having a :coffee: to catch up.
Here's a free hug to those that need them :grouphug:
I took DS to a fireworks display last night - it was fab and he thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very late night for him though... I got woke up at 8am by a little person crawling into my bed for the first time ever and giving me a cuddle - what a lovely way for me to wake up:TTiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find0 -

We used a private consultation when my dad was ill. Just call a couple of private hospitals and get prices. Then go to the doctor and get a referral. Then when you see the consultant they will hopefully get you a NHS appointement for future treatment. Be careful they quote you for any tests aswell. When my Dad went for a skin cndition it was £150.00 to see the doctor and £600.00 for the blood tests!!!0 -

You may have noticed from posts a few weeks ago we are in a nightmare situation at the moment. Our son was excluded from school for 2 days as he threw a chair and was very rude shouting etc to 3 teachers including the head. DH has just taken DS to doctors to discuss a private referral as have managed to get hold of £400 which I know is not a lot but may make the process quicker. We have been waiting since January 2011 for an appointment xxx
aww hun i know how you feel there seem to be help out there(i hear lots of people get it) just not for me (my dd1) shes
a caring child ,cant understand why people are not nice, she was bullied at start of school and that relly caused problems for me ,
she has to go to bed at 6pm she clock watches (it makes me so sad)
she has to have food certain way on plate and eat certain way have drink in same place (but will eat anything and i mean anything)
she has to know in advance whats happening (i.e 2nite we going to chipshop for tea and going up the mountains to watch fireworks (nice and free apart from chips )but i had to tell her about a week ago and every day we have to go throu what we going to do that nite,. aswell as what going to be happening day to day,she even has to keep to same bed time routine i,e drink wait 2o min toilet and brush teeth kiss dad then dd2 then me then we read then lights out and bed , and has to be this everynite (she dosnt sleep at nanas much as she finds it hard to cope sleeping anywhere im not or daddy
shes exsreamly clever , she culd read by her self at 3
she can write and spell good few words also very good at maths and science (she loves science and space) he teacher used her as an example to the inspectors the other day and they we so impressed with her that they called a meeting with me to ask me did iknow how clever my child was :T:rotfl: of course i do
at the moment im trying to get her a scholarship (hard work)to go to a better school as the teacher feel shes so advanced and i do ,
shes very popular with the kids but cant cope with it (in the playground shes find if she in class and they all workign or having disscution) she finds it to much when they all want to play , she pefures he 2 best friends and that taken long enough to make happen as she though after the bullying they were all going to be nasty to her
sorry for long post but iv had not the best time l8tly and i feel i can pour my heart out her and it helps me ,0 -

I have done the above once for gynae and once for child eczema with no referral either time from gp. On both occasions the result was the same outstanding. I went local private hospital. You may have to wait couple of weeks for appt to see the private consultant- don't be shy on phone about asking for cost. Obviously if you had doctors notes to bring to first appointment then that would be good- your gp will support you on this one. If they don't you can pay for a copy of the notes- think £25ish and they have to produce that.
If he prescribes anything you can get your gp to transfer the script to an NHS script. These are my experiences - please don't shout at me anyone I am only trying to help this loyal mse girl:)
Hope you can get it sorted ForestroxydogTiger
