worry-wart wrote: »I knew I'd forgotten to mention something last night. I bought a kids character lunchbox that was half price along with some RTC batteries (best before 2013 so worth keeping an eye out as I reckon store specific). Checked receitp and it showed a discount of '20% OFF COOK/HOME' valued at 90p. Worked back and realised the RTC lunchbox was the culprit though I don't recall seeing any signs anywhere.

Had a fairly good night even though all the problems with my Mum and family were swirling around my brain. Then was woken at 8.00 by my sister saying she will be over to Mum's at 12 for the meeting with lan chap. They are coming to talk to Mum about the loan papers for the windows and electric works. My older sister ( who lives abroad) insists one of my brothers come aswell. So I just said to my sis that I would get Mum up and dressed and would then leave.
I have spent 18 months getting this council loan sorted for Mum to have the windows and now everyone wants to make sure it is ok.
I know I sound melodramatic but I am really down about the whle thing.
My older brother apparently told my sister that she was to put a stop to the work as he does not think it necessary.
Anyway there is a meeting on Thursday with Social Services and I told my sis I wont be at that one either. I am working towards finishing looking after Mum after Xmas so they can start to take over now.
It is a very sad situation but there you go. My sister kept shouting at me this morning that we are family and should look after each other. What a joke!
No shopping today either although I might return the Ogio Merlot for a refund as I was told by sa yesterday it was withdrawn for Health and Safety reasons and when I mentioned that I had heard there was glass in it he did not deny it. Will reprt back later what happens.
Sorry if I clogging up the thread with all my woes. I did have a long running thread in the Family section but closed it a few weeks ago as one of my family started snooping around here and they would not understand me taking advice from strangers. Having said that I have had a lot of help and support on here and on that thread. There is good in human nature if you look for it.
You're not clogging it up:eek: Big hugs xxBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

I'm not suprised you feel as you do, all that hard work for others to jump in at the last minute. Please take care of yourself, you have to be selfish in situations like this(talking from experience:()
Re the wine, that is a bit worrying:eek:keep us updated.

, if you want to take them back then do it no-one can stop you (unless asda say no)
if you cant afford them dont make your self short or worry just return and move on id say lol
As you say, this is down to how you feel yourself. Personally, in a case like this where a known glitch has unfortunately stopped working before I've noticed, I would just take the hit on the basis that I get enough out of the glitches as it is ! I would only return items where the APG system has clearly pulled a fast one and said they don't stock something when they clearly do.
Also, a point which I feel should ALWAYS be given more
consideration is .. can you afford to take the loss if a glitch doesn't work ? I know that the harder up you are, the more attractive some of these great bargains look .. but peeps really should give more thought to it before they invest money they can't afford to lose if it goes wrong. I'm not saying don't do it, just think about it a bit cos some of these glitches are on things which are hard to return if it goes wrong. Its a bit like the stock market - never wise to invest cash you can't afford to lose.
Just my thoughts.ELITE 5:2

If you type tesco procust recall into your search bar it brings up only one product - packs of 10 beer which have glass shards. Wine is fine:) But any questions freecall the customer care number.
