I'll thank anyone that brings a smile to my face at the end of the types of days I often have at the moment!0 -
Each individuals choice, I agree with you there I would not thank for a new thread but who am I to say what other people should thank for and I defo would not bother the mods with it.Surely not someone saying "Hello" or "thanyou for a new thread"...by all means thank the poster of the new thread, but not the person who thanks him/her for it...
Ive reported it to the mods, and asked for a review of the processs.
At the end of the day are they going to give guidelines as to what is worthy of a thanks or just go through posts each night deleting thanks they think are not worthyWhen The Fun Stops Stop

It would seem so, could have joined us in a more sedate way though.

Does it matter may be friends I tend to along with other posts that are informative or like I said the other night ones where my heart goes out to them, others thank every post.
Why does it bother you ?
Off to thank you just so you dont get a complex
Generally when I look at a username, and then the posts and thankyous, it gives the impression that the "thankyous" a poster has earned, means he/she has helped people...Thanking people for saying "Hello" makes a mockery of this.....
What else is the purpose of making the ammount of "thankyous" visible...Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
"I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours, "I said that............................ Bob Dylan 19630 -
Night night all..... early start in the morning and I should be long gone. ....
BTW..... There really is no need to 'thank' me for leaving..... I might be offended when I check back tomorrow. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
