Hello Flo, nice to hear from you....Yes still active, and yes a lot quieter, did you get the wine yesterday.....

Still got half a loft full of H&B....and drawers full of other stuff, all free of charge of course.

Don't drink (well not any more, lol) so have been stocking up on biscuits and choc instead. The Finish tabs and cleaning glitch in the Tesco metros is quite a good bargain.

Miss RnR and H&B still, will never see the like of those again.:(

Some real good bargains pop up on this thread great people keep it going too. I contribute when I can which isn't often enough with work.

    Boo hoo hoo

If people want to thank posts then it's up to them, get over it.

    Does it really matter ?

Make sure you thank this btw :D

I only thank posts that are helpfull, not condescending...its getting like PTS.............

Whether it matters, I suppose I'll find this out from the mods.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

:Thanks Fudge_Cake. I'll be trying that one in the morning as we've got enough biscuits for presents now.:)

I don't need many prezzies for xmas :( Just the binmen, treatment room at GP's, staff at my Grandfather's care home and a couple of neighbours as thanks. I've only got 2 lots 2 fingers with Vinnie's and 2 fingers with the Thorntons and I'd already gotten 2 Dairy Box and 1 Milky Tray from the last glitch so some of these things are MINE MINE MINE! :o

Just a shame there isn't such a big comparison on a box of choccies as there is on the Fingers ;)

:rotfl:My local has the triggers but no fingers have checked once for the last 2 days not really in to chocolates but at these prices ;) well it would be rude.
As it is no show but much prefer the cheese and jacobs creek :T wonder if we will get something new tomorrow.

Other way around in mine!! Plenty of fingers, no triggers! :p Always the way!

Its been a real mixed bag for you ! I noticed that there was no reduced halloween in ours either. I seen them clearing it on halloween night out of the seasonal aisle but no idea where it went ???

Pursue the petrol thing its far to expensive not too :(

You really nice getting everyones tea and kettle hunting. I hope you take time out for yourself :)

I had a lovely day, had a good chat with oldest lad this morning then we went in to town for a bite. Went passed Coop on hunt for Spec k crisps no luck but did pick up Nouvelle for 20p after coupon for aunty M (i cant use it) she will be pleased. She received her crunchy nut this morning and was fairly delighted.

She says do i need a photo for facebook. I dont think she would even know what facebook looks like :rotfl::rotfl:

Tonight had a chinese takeaway and then another biscuit run to SADAS. I never got the toblerooney , they were so light. be aswell buying a tobleroony bar.

Now waiting till 12.15 for APG then bed. Watching Modern family. love that show. Off this weekend !! :j:j:j

Time for myself?? :o What's that then?? :o

Oooh yeah the halloween bits I forgot to say. I never saw anything reduced in T's. In A's they had Scream eggs, Cadbury spiders and Smarties ghosts for half price, about 25-30p each. RUBBISH! :p In Mr S there was a fair few reductions, some 50%, some 70% but most of the spaces were empty so I confess I didn't pay much attention :o

Ahhh that sounds fabby! :j:T Yes I was debating the Tobelle too but it was so small!!! Glad I took a punt now on the Thorntons! But it's always gone the other way when I've tried something new :o

I'll definitely pursue the petrol yeah, thanks hun :)

Guess you've already gone but hope your APG was all good :T:cool: Sleep tight lovely :Axx

    Chinese scrummy!! :D

Awww Elsie, of course :T Lovely to have you back on board :Axxxx

3Dogs :T:j:T:j:T:j Your post makes me :D:D:D:D :D:D:D:D :D:D:D:D Well done you, Steve and Andy :T

Generally when I look at a username, and then the posts and thankyous, it gives the impression that the "thankyous" a poster has earned, means he/she has helped people...Thanking people for saying "Hello" makes a mockery of this.....

What else is the purpose of making the ammount of "thankyous" visible...
Well thats where you are going wrong I dont even look in that direction, read the posts you soon realise who helps people, who has the smart put down etc.
At the end of the day the "regulars, old school" elite all have spent time happy/sad together so they will probably take more notice of each other stands to reason I do.
Anyway glad to have you on this thread it is pretty good :D

Pretty pointless really as Freddy Kruger might be behind the innocent user name.......Thats why (imho), there was a purpose for the "thankyou" button......a rating of a posters helpfulness.

Seems to vary across the threads though. I don't think there's any
universal value to the number of thanks. Must admit, having had to walk on water to get a thanks on some threads I also found it a bit odd when returning to this version of the Tesco threads but "When in Rome ......."
