Wine glitch (if it is one, or one of Tesco's questionable marketing ploys - who cares when it works
).
Ogio Merlot still working in our Extra store this morning just now - 6 bottles for £9.01. SEL still £9.99/3 for £12. No Ogio Chardonnay but SEL has changed to £6.79/3 for £12 - all Hardy's still 3 for £12.
Also a banner up saying they are accepting Ms and As £5 off £40 conditional spend vouchers.
Anon
When I went shopping just before midnight the Ogio Merlot was still on sale and advertised at 3 for £12 (Tesco Warrington) but when I took my 6 bottles to the till it said item recalled and they would not sell it to me. This was after I had waited on the instruction of a shelf stocker for half an hour while they unloaded it off a lorry that had just arrived. I was a bit peeved so I asked to speak to a Manager. The Wine Manager (Paul H*****n) came over and told me they had been recalled because there were shards of glass in them and the whole lot was going to be poured away. So now what do I do about the bottles I have already bought but no longer have the receipt for? I don't want to risk injury to me or my family.0 -
If the posts is helpful......certainly
Depends what you define as helpful. The purely selfish person may only thank someone if they give a plain, direct answer to a question and ignore anyone that bothers to reply if they don't provide the exact info that was requested. There's more to it than that. It's about being polite, appreciative, responding to humour on what is plain to see is a social thread as much as anything which is why it is not in the mainstream.Awaiting a new sig0 -

Email or better a phone call to HO to ask what you should do as you have given some away but your not sure who got what bottles. Tell them they should issue a national recall0 -

I would like to thank the people that have tried new things tonight and have found new triggers .
Then again if you've tried new shops but are too scared to post because they haven't worked, Thank you too.

I am sure tesco would recall them if they thought there was shards of glass in them a lot cheaper to give everyone £10 back for 6 bottles than pay out compo.

£10 for 6 bottles ???
I paid £9.99 each but have lost the receipt0
