Why did 36 people thank the poster for this contribution....

Makes a mockery of the whole idea of the "thankyou"

The whole thread seems full of it...

I really think this should be investigated by the powers that be, its like buying ratings on ebay....

Probably because unlike ebay there is nothing for sale on here. and every contribution has a value to someone. :D

Surely not someone saying "Hello" or "thanyou for a new thread"...by all means thank the poster of the new thread, but not the person who thanks him/her for it...

Ive reported it to the mods, and asked for a review of the processs.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Does it matter may be friends I tend to along with other posts that are informative or like I said the other night ones where my heart goes out to them, others thank every post.
Why does it bother you ?

A lot of posters do it to keep a track of where they have read up to on a thread. Pretty standard practice on MSE especially on chat type threads in the Arms, you are going to be busy reporting lots of threads.

To be honest I am surprised a long standing poster would be this petty.:(

Ok, here goes – This is a VERY GOOD DEAL (Better than reloaded in T’s)..

Thanks to a couple of regulars (you know who you are) I have managed to get hold of the WW vouchers and have spent a lot of time in A’s over the last couple of days making gooduse of them.

If this is old news to some of you, please ignore the rest of my post, however, I haven’t read this anywhere else so I have no idea if the info is ‘out there’ so I thought I’d better publish it, just in case.

WW meals cost £2.98 in A’s and the voucher scans at £2.99,so 1p back for every meal bought. If you buy 6 meals in one shop it compares veryfavourably to W’s (£2.99 v £1.99).

If you are lucky enough to find a willing sa (we all know who they are) then you might get away with using 6 vouchers each time. If this is the case, add a few of the usual cheapies (see below) and if you spend about£1 cash, you will get an APG for just over £7.00, thus getting £18 worth of WWmeals FREE and an APG for £7 having only spent £1 cash on fillers.

  • *Put a small amount of fuel in my car in Mr S (only a small amount as waiting for a promo ;) ) I was running low but the fuel light still hadn't come on when I put the fuel in. Drove off and the gauge didn't move. I thought ok, maybe a bit of time for it to register (though normally it's instantaneous) but after driving maybe 3 miles from Mr S into town and coming so far back, the fuel light comes on :mad: So I stopped on my way back (fish and chips going cold :( ) and asked if they've had any problems with that pump (this has never happened to me before so I didn't know what to do!) said no. Manager not available so have taken my details and will contact me tomorrow.*
not sure about mr s but i work in mr a and as far as i know the fuel works like this. its the fuel physically coming through the nozzel that pushes up the price gauge.if it dosnt go thru then ur not charged for it.an average sized car getting a small amount of fuel (say up to £10 worth) will not move the dial in ur car as its too small an amount .hope that helps slightly i mean mr s could be different in the way their fuel works
