Where I work, and we sell items from £1 right upto a £1k maybe more, every return/refund over £25 has to be logged on a sheet, with the original sales number, the item number, the price and the reason why, it then is checked and signed by the store manager and it is part of the paperwork we have to submit to HO.
People doing things like is the reason why lots of companies are looking at and changing their returns policy, it won't be long before any of the goodwill in retail is gone altogether and there will be no option for 'change of mind' returns at all.0 -

Are you? You seem reluctant to answer the following question:And how much have you spent in petrol and time?
How long did it take you to visit four Tesco stores? How many miles did you drive?0 -

And no doubt you will be one of the first to complain when Tesco decide that due to abuse of their returns policy, they make it so you have your statutory rights and nothing more than that.0 -

Around £3 in petrol, around 1 and a half hours. I had nothing else to do today so I wasn't bothered. Its only driving. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

You place no value on your time? I guess not if you would create such a fuss over £25!

Why does she need training? You were adamant that your "exceptional" case was a perfectly reasonable request.
Are you now saying that you were fully aware that what you were trying to do was improper and that you have probably got this girl into trouble?
Please don't ever try and do business with my company, I would bounce you out of the proverbial door before your feet could touch the ground.0
