But they don't have to refund you. They are under no obligation to take the printer back0 -

How much is your time worth? You're going to cost yourself far more than £25 in chasing this ...0 -

yeh I know but if they want to keep their customers happy..This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

They don't need to keep you happy, you are just one customer who frankly they don't give a toss about. Them losing out on 25 quid by doing this is irrelevant, fact is as said they do not have to refund you. For the sake of 25 quid, I personally would value my time at more than that and cease this futile chase.0 -

they will want to keep me happy. All I'm asking is a simple procedure. They make over £25 a secondThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

They don't care about you. They make enough money so that if they annoy 1 customer who wants more than their legal obligation, they are perfectly happy to tell them no. To be frank, they know you will use them again regardless of what you say you will do, so many people have been on here and said they are boycotting x store then just use them again next time they think they will get a bargain...0 -

Why will they want to keep you happy? It doesn't sound like you are a particularly valuable customer.0 -

because Im one of their customers. Im only asking them to do a simple thing that can be done in a minute. Im sure you would be the same if you were in my shoes. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

To them, you're a nobody, just a number, one in 10 million shoppers, no more valuable than anyone else.
As for me, I would ask once likely over the phone as its quicker than trailing to the shop and back, then if I got knocked back I would get on with using the printer I had paid for. My time as I said is too valuable to me to waste on something like that. If it was an expensive item then I might think differently but a cheap printer, no.0 -

If it was John Lewis I'd send a polite email, because a) I know they have excellent cs standards, and b) they know I spend a great deal with them. If they said no I would leave it at that, I know I have no right to a refund. Any other store, no I wouldn't dream of it, and I certainly would not turn up at the store with the goods!0
