  • Your going to think I'ma pain but need to input a transaction code from the receipt of a DIY store for TNS and can't see on the receipt what they are looking for. Can anyone help??
(I hope this Mystery shopping lark gets easier with time, at the moment I feel as if I'm rubbish at it!!)
Not sure if it is the same job I did but on my receipt there is a line just under the vat number. First is the date then the time and then finally a six figure number - (2 numbers then a dash then 4 numbers). This is what I used as it corresponded with the number of boxes on the questionnaire. I don't no if it is right!

    Hiya Guys
Hope you're all well on the last day before December. Advent calenders tomorrow - yay!! Got my free one with a local paper.

Anyway I was just looking for a bit of advice about TNS. I'm doing a few pubs for them and they give you £20 fo food. Now they say that that money is just for me - that it's not to pay for anyone else to eat. But they don't ask for reciepts - they just ask you to tell them how much they owe you for food

    2 Qs...

1 - Has anyone been doing these and taking someone for dinner? And claiming an amount less than £20 for bot of you?
2 - Does anyone just claim the full £20 regardless of how much they spent? After all thiis is what TNS has budgeted for? I tried doing this when they gave me £5 for drinks and haven't hear anythign back yet. Or is this being dishonest?

    Thanks everyone!!

IIRC they are generally "for one or two people" and therefore you can claim for what you both had, but are not supposed to claim for anyone else in addition. You can only claim what you actually spent; they normally ask for the exact amount spent and a receipt. Then they will pay you what you spent, but if you spend more you are only paid up to their limit.
