No more spends here from grocery budget but I have done a tosco shop to come on Monday. It's about £65, and will just wrap up the month, as mine starts on 20th. No more buying nappies here! My youngest is now potty training and doing really well. Should save a few quid!
I suppose it's a good time to rethink the budget really for December and then into the new year
I well remember the delight at no more nappies, I didnt have to buy them being so long ago but Oh the bliss of not having to soak and boil and dry the blooming things.Slimming World at target0 -
Pleased to report that the hm pizzas tonight were a mahoosive success :j Got DS1, DD and DS2 to choose their toppings and make their own - DD did a stuffed crust, DS2 made a face from some ham and pepperoni and DS1 just piled it all on (hollow legged teenager). Still have 3 pizza bases in the freezer for another time.

£15 today meaning I am £9 over budget so far - one more week to go and I'll try very hard to stay within £20 over at the most. If I do this I'll have reduced it down by a tenner from last month when I went £30 over. I've stuck to my meal plan for this week and will be doing the same for next week as this helps a lot. Also bought two egg custard tarts today which were tastelss and horrible pastry. This has given me a kick up the backside to bake something instead and not to buy any more cakes or buns. I have a lot of baking ingredients in so it won't blast the budget either. Last weekend I made the Christmas cakes out of one amount - 2 x 2lb cakes and 2 mini ones and the cost was not much at all thankfully. They look very nice and will be having a feed this weekend!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550

Very small Tesco spend, £1.97.
Bread rolls
Chocolate mousses
And then the really-shouldn't-have purchase, one of those microwaveable Rustlers burgers... A nutritional content of zero, but quick, quite tasty, and on special offer for £1. I was on my way home from a half-day at work, starving, had forgotten to get some bread out the freezer earlier to make a sandwich once home, so caved in to the thought of "90 seconds, then I'll be eating it."Because it's fun to have money!

Just trotted up receipts and organic box and have leapt from £177.51 to £237.04 since last week. This is good for me as always used to spend three figures per shop not so long ago.
Fridge and freezer looking healthy and meals planned to the end of the month.
Before I start getting smug, I realise I'm turning into my mum. Hope husband doesn't notice...January GC 299/300

So I've got £111.44 to get through to the end of the month. However, I have just been on the freebies board and printed off a voucher for a free litre of grape juice, I input my spends on asda price challenge site and they gave me 65pence. I also have a £5 voucher to use against my next shop at asda-it expires on sunday-so I'll have to go tomorrow at some point.
For December budget I've been adding to a savings card this month and have £40 on it already.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Another NSD - 4 on the run I think! I really should pay more attention to this. Going to have to have a spend tomorrow though, got friends coming around for tea and need a few bits and pieces like milk. Over halfway now though and not halfway on our budget! The money that we have leftover from the £150 I've budgeted, we're going to put towards our christmas treeNovember Grocery Challenge = £83.47/£1500

Done this week's shop at Ald* and Moriss*ns. I am trying really hard to come in on budget so I did a meal plan and then went through the cupboards and only put essentials on the list and actually stuck to it :j We now have enough juice, milk, bread, F&V, etc for this week's meals and everything else is already in the freezer or the cupboard.
Total spend was £20.30 but I will need to spend about another £5 as they had run out of the bread flour, cheese, coffee and squash that I wanted.
Felt a bit defeated last week as coming in on budget looked impossible but with a well stocked freezer and cupboard and only one more shop to do before pay day i think with a bit of effort and a lot of restraint we might make it :j
I hope we do because with car tax and Christmas looming we need to!
This thread is amazingly helpful at keeping you on track, giving you good ideas and a bit of a boost when it all feels a bit much :T:T
