Depends where and to a certain extent, when.
I'd guess around £8.50 for an evening showing. (Haven't been myself for ages.)There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Well it depends on the local area. Around here it is £7.40 for an adult ticket at Cineworld, but you get 10% off if you book online. I don't think that is too bad.
In some parts of London £15 for an adult ticket is not unusual.0 -
£13 each at the odeon in my northern town when I looked to pre book James bond last week. Less than half that of I get train to next town
Supply and demandJune challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

Was £9 (including discount) for DH to see the Led Zeppelin film at our local Cineworld. :eek:Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0 -
Too much.
You turn out (probably in the dark/rain/cold), drive (£3), park (£3-5), walk to the cinema, queue, buy a ticket £X, can't hear the film because there are annoying/loud/giggling people around or sweetie wrapper rustlers..... you sit in an uncomfy chair for 2-3 hours, then go out into the cold, hope the car's not been banged/stolen and drive home.
Much better to stay in and get a takeaway.0 -
There are a number of cinemas in my town, just looked them up/prices: £7.80, £7.50, £8.00.0

Was more shocked about the film Taken 2 than the price of the ticket.....total pants.
Oh paid £5.40 for two tickets on Orange Wednesday.I hate migraines.0 -
Last time I took my 2 boys to the cinema I believe it cost around £40 for the 3 of us including an overpriced drink and some overpriced sweets!0

If you compare the price with a similar experience price eg theatre, gig, football match etc. I still think its the cheapest entertainment optionThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Depends where you go! My local Cineworld is just £4.80 but the one in the next town is £7.60.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
