  • Hi all,
I want to have a go making and selling the reuseable pads and donating some of the money i make to charity. Does anyone know how to make these and what material is used ? From what i can gather you use a flannel or cotton like material on the outside and hemp or sherpa on the inside and if you want pul you also put this on the inside but on the side that will go closest to the underwear?

They are made of of very thick towelling material so I suppose you could make some out of a couple of layers of towelling and then they are fixed on with a press stud.

Some just have a number of layers of flannel inside, like the peeweez ones. Do a search as I have seen instructions and patterns for DIY.

this is prob totally off topic....

but the contraceptive injection, depo provera stops periods after one month, and therefore you dont need to use pads/tampons/other things, plus you dont need to take a little pill every day!

My hubby would wonder what I was up to if I got contraception as he paid a visit 7 years ago to the doctor!

This is going to sound horrible but does anyone know how to get the stains out of the washable pads? I've been using them for about the last 4 periods and they are all stained and look horrible.
