Hi all,
I want to have a go making and selling the reuseable pads and donating some of the money i make to charity. Does anyone know how to make these and what material is used ? From what i can gather you use a flannel or cotton like material on the outside and hemp or sherpa on the inside and if you want pul you also put this on the inside but on the side that will go closest to the underwear?Virgin CC=£2652, Next= [STRIKE]£102.88,[/STRIKE] Very=£475.60, Natwest=£800, Sainsburys CC=£1777.02, Lloyds CC=£498.29, Lloyds Loan= £13,946.18, Car=£4000Total = [STRIKE]£26,147.23[/STRIKE] £23,849.09:eek:0 -
They are made of of very thick towelling material so I suppose you could make some out of a couple of layers of towelling and then they are fixed on with a press stud.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Some just have a number of layers of flannel inside, like the peeweez ones. Do a search as I have seen instructions and patterns for DIY.

This is going to sound horrible but does anyone know how to get the stains out of the washable pads? I've been using them for about the last 4 periods and they are all stained and look horrible.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
