lol! i'm getting a mirena fitted - had the tests, got valium, just waiting until i'm on the blob and can get it put in. i'm trying not to think about it too much but i've only had a couple of periods since my baby was born and they're horrible, can't wait for them to stop lol!52% tight0

can you microwave them?? it says in the instructions to 'boil in an open pan for 5 minutes or soak in sterilising solution'. Ive looked on the mooncup website, couldnt see anything about it there.
i live in uni accommodation with a lot of people, mainly guys but a few girls as well, and sods law says that the 5 mins i spend with an open pan on stove is the one time some of these people come into the kitchen...i *really* dont want to have to use the 'hat for an alien doll' excuse (ty gingham ribbon!)....so, can i microwave it?

I do mine in a microwave steriliser for 6 minutes on high, 150 ml water in the steriliser and all seems fine.0 -

Yeah, you can get them for doing baby bottles.
It's basically a box with a lid (with just a few little holes for the steam to escape) and you put the water in the bottom, the mooncup on a vented plastic shelf inside and microwave for 5-6 mins. I guess you could design your own.0
