That would be really helpful to hear what advice they may have.
Right, well have had a few email exchanges now. Not really anything new to report though.
To summarise, they said to ensure it was inserted as low as possible as muscles stronger here. When I said that I had read that they had advised someone else to insert high, they seemed surprised, but said yes, try that too! Also experiment with inserting at different angles to try to mirror angle of uterus I suppose. Not sure how this would work really though.
The other quite interesting thing she said was that perhaps the larger size is too big for me and isn't opening up properly, so there is a kink in it that allows the blood to run through. I'm going to give the larger size another go this month and if no joy will try ordering the smaller one. She said they will refund on whatever one I choose to return.
They do seem very helpful though, impressive after sales service.0 -

I will try next month having it high and low and compare the 2, maybe i need to try excercises to strengthen the muscles (?).
I must admit i have felt disappointed at times with the level of protection, but when it has worked its been amazing.
BTW my Peeweez pads arrived today, and they look great, really thin and discreet too. Would recommend them to all. At £3 each (when you buy 6, £3.50 normally) and FREE P & P, its a fantastic moneysaver!!!
AND THEY DON'T MAKE CRINKLE NOISES :T YAY!

I am having great success with my peeweez pads. Had to use 2 bedtime pads at the heaviest which is loads less than the usual 1 1/2 - 2 packs!!!! Thought about this and following on the idea off other reusable pad sites I have made a couple of soaker pads to increase the amount it will hold for the really heavy days. The soakers are pieces of cotton fabric folded loads and then hand stiched around the edges. Just placed on top of the pad they work really well and hopefully I may be able to use no throw aways at all.The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

Just to report in re my missing parcel of peeweez pads
It went missing for several days then just turned up in my wheelie bin
Thank goodness my usual postman is back on his rounds again.
They're wonderful by the way. My hubbie calls them my princess pads because I'd said they make me feel like a princess.(They just seem so POSH!!! :rotfl: )

Different postie doesn't seem to worry about whether things get stolen. If they don't fit in the letter box he'll leave them outside somewhere (even if it'd fit through the cat flap.) We had a dvd player on our doorstep once. Complaining makes no difference. Our usual guy is really good though. :TMay all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

I have come across a site that gives you the pattern and instructions to make your own cloth pads. I've printed it out and might give it a go. I'm no sewer but it looks simple enough. I'm going to go for the ones with wings. I'm on my way to work at the mo so if anybody's interested I'll find the site in my favourites later on. They make quite a lot and it would cost next to nothing to make.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0
