Thank you SO much for the reply Purplepatch :D

For some bizarre reason i hadn't seen your previous reply, i dont know why:confused: Sorry, you must have thought i was so ignorant!

Anyway, i have found some tips on that site extremely helpful :D
I'm off to try one of them now.
I was beginning to feel like a freak, with my leaking problems!

    Thank you SO much.

    LOL@ 'wonky bits' :D:D

That would be really helpful to hear what advice they may have.

Had to laugh at one of the cons mentioned on the other website:-

If I end up at a public toilet that doesn't flush, what on EARTH is the next person going to think.

    And the answer given:-

Run like mad and don't look anyone in the eye on the way out...

    :D:rotfl:

Thanks for that link PurplePatch. It was really funny but also very helpful. They all go on about rotating it though and I've never done this. Will try it out next time.

If any ladies have bad period pains and don't want to take Ibuprofen, try a few drops of Rose Essential Oil on a tissue a stick it in your bra. Guarenteed to sort you out straight away. It also worked when I was younger when I had terrible cramps and no over the counter painkiller would work.

Rose oil is expensive, Rose Geranium is slightly cheaper, but a few drops here and there for a £6 bottle of oil last longer than boxes of painkillers.
:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:

Thanks Trace-j, I will try that.
Can i just ask though- will the oil not irritate the skin if it comes into contact?

[edit] I have literally just this minute tried the rose oil in the bra tip, and it works!!!!!!!

Amazing, it worked straight away (i am having my period at the mo, BTW)

Good point, I tend to fold the tissue into a square so the drops are on the inside away from the skin. You'll still get the smell.

Edit: Excellent Sabbykins, if night time is uncomfortable you can but a few drops on your pillow or in an oil burner (be careful with naked flames) and will help you have pain free night.

Has everyone subscribed to the Mooncup e-newsletter? (I think it's bi-annual) I've just received the summer one and it makes for interesting reading. It's nice to hear about the Russian women who have been given Mooncups.
