Sexybabe - I to have also spoken to Gordon and I am waiting to hear back from him I think Sophia Tolli should be ashamed of themselves making an already difficult situation worse.

If you google begbies traynor that'll give the details and its the Liverpool office. The gentleman leading it is called David Moore

Where abouts are you based? Is Longridge any closer to you?
When are you getting married?
We can't help in getting you your dress as we aren't a Sophia Tolli stockist but if we can fit you in between our existing customers and it's more convenient we would like to offer you our alterations services to you.
We would hate to think your not enjoying the lead up to your wedding day because of travelling a long journey for alterations.

Has any brides heard any updates from today's meeting yet at all? I'm still waiting on delivery confirmation from Essense regarding my gown that was confirmed as ordered in July and due for delivery and my first fitting in just two weeks, still haven't had a letter from BGG, and have no idea where the headdress they were storing at the Chester shop is. I'm so frustrated at the lack of answers!

I know that they should be confirmed as liquidated at a meeting today so was hoping for some good news finally (pretty please!) x

Hi there. The meeting with the liquidators is taking place tomorrow and they said they would send further information after that but I wouldn't expect anything specific everything I've been getting so far is generic responses from both the BGG and the liquidators. Very unhelpful

Hi Dawn, i got a call from Essence yesterday who say they do have my order, which is slightly positive! They just dont know how much of the £720 ive paid, they have got. So im just like the rest of you just waiting now. They said they are still working with the store on how best to sort out the orders they have and wil contact everybody in the next week or so. In the meantime, ive sent all my paperwork off to the insurers waiting for their claims handler to get back to me, and also waiting for this creditor meeting to take place tomorrow in the hope we will receive what we all want which is confirmation of the liquidation! Im not holding out on much hope though!! Keep me posted on here please if you hear anything, there are not many Essence brides out there as much as other designers so great to hear any further feedback xxx

Hopefully we will hear from them tomorrow after their meeting, or the next few days at least. It seems alot of designers are being very heplful to brides, but Essence just arent giving you any information which is really frustrating isnt it. We just want to know what the hell is going on. At least i have 10 months til my wedding which is plenty of time to turn this around, i feel sick for the likes of yourself who's wedding is alot sooner!

Thanks Lillie - Essense are proving rather hard work, probably because of the fact they're in Kansas! Just makes it that little bit harder to get an update from them. I've made the decision not to cancel and re-order the dress and have definitely run out of time to do this now, so I'm praying that nothing more goes wrong - they promised it would be delivered one way or the other, just needed to work the logistics out with other suppliers and the status of the account held with BGG once liquidated etc. It's nice to know that there are other Essense brides out there though
