    Love how he can't even maintain his twitter silence for one night!!

    He just won't admit this is his fault. As somebody said somewhere else on this thread, even waitrose and M&S limit the number if hampers they sell. By not doing that, and by then adding more and more to the order queue without ensuring supplies and staff would be there when he needed them Neil has, I'm afraid, screwed it up for himself.

    And when he should be grovelling, apologising and throwing everything at it to deliver the promises he made, he's accusatory, rude and dismissive.

    He's not the next Branson, that's for sure!

  • The customer is always right? In this case I feel that my business is a total inconvenience...
    dreading tomorrow and now panicing over what I do if they don't turn up on Friday... would love to know how many orders are outstanding..

    Couldn't agree with you more, especially after reading the company's tweets in the last hour "I just wish people would let us get on so we can get them all out" - again pointing the blame at us the customers, if they hadn't promised the delivery date of the first week of December, then the 14th and the tweet saying they would all be done by last Wednesday we wouldn't have to contact him.:(

    Totally agree, I am out of pocket, have no hampers and feel as if I am being an annoyance now asking for the tracking number.

    I am dispatching 18 items tomorrow by courier and as each is dispatched the customer will get the tracking number from me, the courier have the customers emails and then they update them on delivery. It's not difficult.

    Someone suggested a better courier system on Twitter and received a curt reply - as you would expect.

    I have tweeted UKMail now with my postcode to see if I am getting a delivery tomorrow or not. I can't waste anymore time staying in though so if they do arrive I bet I'll be out!

    Right, back to providing good customer service to my customers!!
  • Bad customer service = unhappy customers = customers not using the company again = no money = no business.

    Maybe the person tweeting on behalf of the Norfolk Hamper Company should remember this.
